[Champion Concept] Dag, the Rampager
So I was watching The Nature of Things the other day (David Suzuki is awesome!) and there were big-horn sheep featured. Boy are they fascinating. So I decided to make a champion concept based on a big-horn sheep! BECAUSE NATURE!
Dag is a big-horn sheep who likes to run amok and hurt people. I know 4-legged champs are hard to animate/move, but this is just a concept, so we'll pretend. His basic attacks are him swinging his head back and forth, bashing enemies with his horns. He is designed as an AD melee/off-tank champ
Passive: Momentum
- When out of combat, Dag gains bonus movement speed (max 300) while moving. His next basic attack or headbutt gains bonus physical damage equal to half the bonus move speed from Momentum.
Q: Headbutt
- Dag rears up on his hind legs and slams his head into an enemy, dealing physical damage and slowing them (slow based on Dag's current HP).
W: Thick Skull
- Dag passively takes reduced damage from basic attacks that hit his head. (i.e. as long as he's facing his attacker)
- Activating Thick Skull grants Dag bonus armor and attack speed for a period.
E: Resounding Impacts
- Dag's basic attacks, Headbutts, and Reckless Charges become empowered for a period, creating shock waves that deal magic damage to surrounding enemies based on his bonus armor.
R: Reckless Charge
- Dag charges in a straight line, gaining Momentum (i.e. bonus move speed up to a max of 300) as long as he does not take damage. The first enemy hit is knocked up and takes massive physical damage based on Dag's maximum HP.
- Reckless Charge is intended as a long-distance gap-closer (or escape method) that will bring Dag into a team fight quickly if he's not in the area, or out of harm's way when he's got low health.
- I guess you could compare it to Rammus' Powerball, but Dag can only move in a straight line during Reckless Charge and deals a huge amount of damage compared to Rammus.
Let me know what you think of Dag in the comments. Feedback is always welcome!
