Role Reno is a viable top and jungle who can also be played midlane in the same vein that Fiora or Aatrox can be played midlane.

Looks Reno wears a red bandana and a white button-up shirt with frayed black pants. He wears brown shoes, and wears a ribbon on his lower right arm. When asked about it, he smirks. His hair is brown and falls out from underneath his bandana. He also has a tattoo of an anchor on his upper left arm.

He wields two cutlass'

Lore One night when Reno was very young, he was visited by two men. He knew not who the men were but based on the fact that they arrived in the middle of the night during a thunderstorm, he knew it couldn't be good. They were dressed in the uniform the Bilgewater Officials wore. Not every day you saw that, that's for sure. The Bilgewater Officials liked to keep quiet and hidden. It was a pirate town, after all. Very quietly, they handed him a letter. He skimmed the letter and by the time he was done and looked back up to address the men, they had already left. He could feel pain welling up inside him. He read the letter again. It read that his parents had died in a recent raid.

Of course, it was their raid. They were pirates, after all. Reno ran straight down to the basement where he knew his parents kept the vast amount of money they had accrued over the years, there was a lot of it. More than an average man would be able to spend in five years. They were some of the most revered and feared Pirates on the Two Seas. It was at that moment that Reno decided he knew his fate. He had always wanted to be like his parents, but they had been very clear that they wanted him to have nothing to do with Piracy.

But they weren't here now, were they? Reno grinned wide and began laughing. The very next morning he went out and bought a boat and acquired a crew. They were skeptical of their young Captain who seemingly had no experience on the high seas, but all doubts were quickly put to rest when one of the crew members tried to overthrow him. Reno lashed out quickly and devastatingly, nearly taking off the mans arm. Reno was extremely ruthless and everybody knew it. The kid may only have been 16, but he was dangerous.

For the next few years, the crew sailed the seas, raiding every vessel they could see. Reno reveled in the stealing, the fighting, and above all else, the booze. One night upon docking in Bilgewater to let his crew see their families (He was ruthless but he knew how important family was, and of course, the women he could acquire in Bilgewater) and spend their newfound wealth, he met a man. The man told Reno his name was Gangplank. He drank himself into a stupor with his new friend and upon waking, found his boat to be stolen.

Reno, being a very greedy man and not liking to spend money but preferring to bathe in it, spent the next couple weeks seeking out his "friend" until he found the Gangplank resided in the League of Legends. Reno knew there was one thing to do if he wanted his boat back.

Hidden Passive: Being a Pirate Grants the flavour text: "Yarr! I'm a mighty pirate!"

Passive: I'm just getting started! With each unit Reno kills, he gains .5/1/1 AD, but every time Reno dies, he loses 20% of his bonus AD from his passive.

Q: Flying Slash Reno leaps into the air and cuts downward with his Cutlass, dealing damage. His attack speed is increased for each enemy champion he hits with this ability. Range: 600 Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Mana cost: 40/50/60/70/80 Damage: 80/120/160/200/240 (+50% AD) (+80% AP) Attack Speed bonus per champion: 5%/8%/11%/14%/17%

W: Brass Beatdown Reno punches forward with the hand-guard of his Cutlass, dazing his opponent and slowing them for a brief time period. Range: 125 Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Mana cost: 40/50/60/70/80 Damage: 60/100/140/180/210 (+100% AP) Slow: 15%/25%/35%/45%/55%

E: Feint Reno makes a feint toward his opponent and they feel silly for falling for such a trick, lowering their self-esteem, armor, magic resistance, and damage dealt. Adds debuff "Low Self-Esteem": This Champion has fallen for a feint. How foolish! Range: 125 Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 Seconds Mana cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Armor/Magic reduction: 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% Damage reduction: 4%/6%/8%/10%/12%

R: To Ribbons! Reno manically slices in front of him for 2.5 seconds, dealing hefty damage to anybody foolish enough to get caught in the crossfire. He can move while casting, and will continue to cast in whichever direction he is facing. This ability can apply on-hit effects. Personally id love another pirate. One thing GP has is the oranges for scurvy but what he doesnt have from pirate stereotype is rum! I think it would be a cool and interesting mechanic for a pirate to have something involving rum drinking in their kit and because they arent Gragas sized they wont be able to... handle it as well. maybe gives boosts of sorts say mana/health regen and very slight damage resistance but drinking too much in a short amount of time brings in detrimental drunken effects so youd really have to think about using it properly. maybe some kind of "double edged" effect per ability even. like while youre just drunk and stupid not a great example but say using the ult you explained (which seems like a melee Lucian ult) you still pick the direction but it has a slight sway to it back and forth instead of being EXACTLY that direction but has a slight damage increase or maybe increased move speed. id have to sit and think about it more but im just trying to get the point across. also the character shows it noticably in the way they move and talk for clarity to enemies. call it something like "...and a bottle of rum" i dunno. also i feel like id want a rogue-ish pirate full of witty sarcasm to be voiced by Nolan North idk if its just me but id love it. imagine a pirate wall jumping into a fight and drunkenly slashing people to ribbons with the fantastic laugh of Deadpool/Nathan Drake. of course at 16ish that wouldnt work out so well :/ i could think of a good handful of younger sounding VAs id like for a pirate though. Not saying I dont like your concept as i said id love another pirate and your lore is pretty good but kit-wise id like something like

Passive: unsure really yours seems like it could be interesting paired with a feral flare and a pirate that can both top and jungle seems great to me. id almost want to see something new like taunting within X range of your enemies giving bonuses or harming them from agitation (due to feint being removed from my idea) but the taunting thing would be weird and not everyone uses those things anyway or has them hot keyed so its not a great idea. so mroe than likely stick to whats there

Q: AA reset/CC melee hit so the W you have seems fine maybe some balance tuning but yeah. champs with no CC at all tend to not work out super well so having at least a slow seems mandatory. or maybe a very slight knock back with a light stun idk .4-1.0 depending on level? maybe have the drunken state change the Q entirely into a kind of feint? maybe gives a short taunt to you because you just sh... trash talk them?

W: RUM! gives you some sustain/damage resistance and adds interesting mechanics to a new champ to set them apart from the rest. also add some dialogue to this in place of feint towards gragas/GP/MF etc

E: Gap closer that can jump walls. Melee champs need an in and this would be it. you have one listed that seems like it would make a decent ambush. maybe instead of the AS buff you combine it with feint so its your way of assassinating someone. like if your ambush doesnt catch them by surprise they dont lose the armor/MR

R: I like your Ribbon theme so i would keep this mostly the same as its part of their lore. 15 attacks of on hit seems like it may be too much though. imagine someone charging you with 15 hydra strikes in a team fight. that seems excessive when paired with some other stuff in there so maybe like every 3rd or 5th i dunno.

keep in mind this was all on the spot and not thought out. feel free to add and message about stuff because personally im on the same boat as you here with wanting a pirate and GP might have said boat. id really like something similar to this in LoL

The. Voice. Overs. Not the best, but I assume you're not a professional, but still, amazing effort put in on that part. Kit seems like something that I would actually see in game. Lore is kinda short and similar to Gangplank's, but the focus on family that you gave him is good because ou wouldn't expect that out of a pirate.
