League Merchandise (red response would be great)

So... I've got some great ideas for t-shirts and stuff (and the artistic and technical ability to make them a reality), and I saw this guy's post here.

I'm wondering what the policy is on League of Legends-themed merchandise. Are we allowed to sell things that are based on League of Legends or its characters? I'm sure it's a big no-no to include the League of Legends logo or the Riot logo, but I've got some really funny (imo) ideas based on some League of Legends themes and characters that I think would make great League of Legends merchandise. I've seen people selling various items in the past (a plushie teemo comes to mind), and I'm curious if we need Riot's permission to sell stuff like that.

You have to contact the Support. You need a official agreement of Riot that you can use part of their products/things to publish and sell it.

But if you ask me, it won't be viable at all.

The thing is, I see other people selling stuff that's LoL-related, this being the first example that came up on a quick google search.

I'm absolutely happy to get an official agreement going with Riot, I'm just curious what their policy is and if I do need to sign that agreement or whatever, what the process is to get that ball rolling.

I'm just trying you to realize the weight of this idea/merchandise.

People create and sell those stuffs not only on the internet, they go to league of legends themed bars, shops, they go even on PAX or other game related convention, to sell them out.

If you're going to sell them on the internet, then it won't be profitable at all. I'm not an expert when it comes to merchandise, but theoretically it isn't viable.

Contact support, ask them, they give you informations. You'll get here none to low response, but Support answers you immediately or atleast you can be 100% sure that they will.

lol ok.

My line of thinking was that if I'm going to create stuff, I might as well put it out there in such a way that it might make me a bit of money. I like to draw stuff, so if I can get ANY money from that, it's better than doing it for free, no?

Well theoretically yes, but if you're going ot spend some money for materials, then it's not really profitable.
