I have great news! This coming Monday (7.21.14) I am planning on organizing a.....

But today is not that day.....yet! So you may ask why I'm mentioning this, as you probably should. WELL, to put it simply I need some help from some of you lovely people. I need people to help me judge!! I don't want to have all the fun myself!
Judges will:
- NOT be eligible for the contest, that just wouldn't be fair now :P
- Give constructive feedback on ALL entries no matter how refined or how....not-so refined they are
- Work with me and other judges to decide on a final winner
- Keep a secret, I DO NOT want you to advertise you are a judge
- NOT be paid with anything other than that warm fuzzy feeling of making someone else's day a bit better and my genuine thanks
So, if anyone is interested in becoming a judge for this coming contest please join the client chatroom "CB Contestificationers" and I will sign you up and give you the rundown! Note that I am planning on making this a regular occurrence (how regular depends on the success of this coming one) and being a judge this week does NOT require or guarantee you being a judge for the next contest.

What's the prize?!?!?!?!
There will be a prize, but as of right now I can't say exactly what it will be. It depends on how successful I am in my various endeavors this weekend, so I will have that answer 100% during the official announcement on Monday, but for now you're going to have to trust me. I am planning on having prizes for the top 3-5 entrants, depending on participation. There is the possibility of a physical (hand-made) prize shipped directly to you. All entrants are also guaranteed feedback on their concepts!
PLEASE NOTE: Entrants from outside the U.S. are welcome, but if decided as a winner, your prize will be limited to an electronic equivalent. I will not be shipping anything internationally. Expect delays on even the electronic equivalent as well, but I will do everything in my power to get your prize to you.
How do I enter?
Simply respond to the official announcement post on Monday (NOT THIS POST) with the link of your champion concept. Feedback from the judges will be done normally through replies, and as I said above the judges should not be making themselves known. It could be anyone....well, except me obviosuly, you know I'm one.
Limit 1 entry per Summoner
If, for whatever reason, you do not feel comfortable with posting your champ concept or are running into technical difficulties of any kind e-mail me your concept at '[email protected]'. (Please keep in mind of you DO win the concept will be posted, by you or me can be discussed but it will happen!)
How will entries be judged?
Concepts will be rated 1-10 out of five categories: Lore, Kit, Originality, Extras, and Skin Ideas. The first two should be fairly straightforward.
- Originality will be in reference to live champs and live champs only. This category is meant to give less experienced conceptors with a genuinely awesome idea a fighting chance, as well as punish anyone who just copies a live champ and alters them a bit. (Please don't do that)
- Extras is anything not included in any of the other categories but can still be a cool addition. Things like taunts, interactions, trivia, development details are all possible additions to this category, just be sure to put in the effort. Don't feel forced to cram as much stuff as you can though, lacking these extras will default you to a '5' in this category, scores below 5 here are reserved for things like unjustified rude behavior to feedback, rude behavior to other entrants and their work and/or other actions that may not deserve a disqualification, but require some kind of negative reinforcement.
- Skin Ideas will be required for an entrant, not including this would be a '0/10' in this category. Take your time and think of some awesome skins for your champ and describe them to us!
It will never hurt to also have good enthusiasm and help out other entrants. While I can't say it will give you points I do want to have a superlative list if there's enough participation!
How long will we have?
Entries will be taken from 7.21.14 to 7.28.14, exactly a week long. There will be posts by me declaring the start and end of the contest's input so as not to muddle with different time zones. The results should be out no later than the following Wednesday, but as this is the first of hopefully many contests I cannot promise that as a set date. Prizes should be distributed immediately, not including shipping time.
Is there a limited amount of spots?
There is a hard cap of 60 entries. Although I'm not expecting to hit that with this coming contest, on the off-chance we do hit that it will not be feasible to accurately judge that many concepts within a week. Keep in mind every Judge is going to be judging every concept
