Viktor's Log
Log: #9866
Subject: Omega.
As said before, the Omega line of robots was made with a sole purpose: Find a home for the adaption engine. As mentioned in Log #3662, the adaption engine is the pinnacle of my creations. An incredibly powerful tool that reconstitutes matter all around the user to whatever is needed. The problem is the power of this tool, however. Omega-I, Omega-II and Omega-III all self-imploded upon having the adaption engine installed into their core.
Likewise, Omega-IV through Omega-VII all could handle the core but eventually de-materalized core components of their frame. It was only in Omega-VIII and Omega-IX that things were beginning to improve. While functional, both of these models were scrapped due to a severe lack of problem solving. They could not adequately use the adaption engine. In creating the current Omega model, I spared no expense. I have even enlisted outside help from other sources, none of which shall be named here.
Omega-X is the pinnacle of technology in my educated opinion. Upon installing the adaption engine into this model, X thrived with it. When confronted with problems, it would react a thousand different ways. I was impressed at first but the shocking information came later. Unbeknownst to me, Omega-X began to modify its core programming with the adaption engine, adapting to suite its needs. Perhaps this is a folly in my design but I doubt it.
Despite a singular optic device and close-range plasma blades, Omega-X is quite possibly the utter apex of assassination technology. The largest flaw comes from Omega-X's advanced programming: It is arrogant. Some rudimentary emotional "cancer" as wedged itself into X's system. It thinks it is perfect. Any changes to overcome problems are not 'evolutions' but mere adaptions that have always been a part of its programming. Should X encounter failure, I fear that it will treat it as a logical fallacy and destroy itself.
Have I made something I cannot control? Possibly. Perhaps Omega-X is the final step of the glorious evolution. Perhaps it is no longer an evolution. From this point on, it could be mere adaptions....
###Kit
This will be a tad different from usual formats of the bar due to Omega's kit. As always, I'm not a mathematician so numbers are excluded in favor of what the kit does over exact, hard facts and distances. Omega is melee-range, extremely low base stats and uses mana
####Passive- The Adaption Engine
Omega-X's chest houses the "Adaption Engine" a tool that transfigures matter into whatever may be required. As the game goes on, Omega will gain "Adaption" points for the following milestones:
- Champion Kill (NO points for champion assist)
- 50 Creep Kills
- Tower Destruction
Adaption points can be spent to upgrade skills. The larger the cost of, the more massive the effect. Omega can only store a maximum of 3 points at a given time.
Passive Adaptions
| Point Cost | Adaption Name | Adaption Description |- | 1 | Engine Memory Upgrade | Omega expands his memory storage, increasing maximum points saved to 5. | 2 | Optical Recording System | Omega catalogs information, granting him points for assists. | 3 | Adaptive Framework | The adaption engine extends to Omega's frame, granting stacking armor/MR every time he is attacked. Bonus decays overtime.
####Q- Photonic Plasma Blade
Omega jabs at his enemy with his plasma blade, dealing physical damage and reducing armor for a short duration after the effect.
Q Adaptions
| Point Cost | Adaption Name | Adaption Description |- | 1 | Zaunite Application Fiber | Omega improves the blade's framework, allowing Q to apply critical strike, lifesteal and on-hit effects. | 2 | Additional Plasma Rerouting | Omega reworks the plasma flow, allowing for a second blade that grants bonus attack speed after the strike. | 3 | Sengoku Muteki Taka | Ionian for "Many Must Fall", killing enemy units reduces the mana cost of this skill down to nothing. Champion kills extend the duration to double it's current timer.
####W- Shock Dart
Omega fires an electrified dart in a line, dealing magical damage should it hit the target and revealing the target for a short duration.
W Adaptions
| Point Cost | Adaption Name | Adaption Description |- | 1 | Omnidirectional Targeting Softwear | Omega applies tracking technology to his dart, changing it from a skillshot to a targeted skill. | 2 | Electric Infusion Radiation | The dart now releases electric pulses each time the target is attacked, dealing 1/3 of the initial damage in a radius around the target. | 3 | Neuroshock Taser | When the target is struck, they will receive three 1 second stuns for the duration of the reveal.
####E- Plasma Evisceration
Omega thrusts his blade deep into his target, dealing small physical damage initial and a second, equal amount of damage over a three second bleed.
**E Adaptions **
| Point Cost | Adaption Name | Adaption Description |- | 1 | Anti-cauterization Hextechnology | Omega causes his blade to fluctuate, applying grievous wounds for the duration of the bleed | 2 | Hemoscience Nanite Retervial | Omega adds nanites to his evisceration, healing all allied units who attack the target for the duration. | 3 | Vital Organ Tracking | Omega's evisceration now cuts deep into vital organs. Moving will now extend the bleed's duration up to double (6 seconds) the standard time.
####R- Orbital Spike Cutter
Omega launches himself into the atmosphere at a targeted champion from a great distance. After three seconds Omega will land, dealing a large amount of physical damage to the target and placing him next to them. For the three seconds, that champion will have a reticule on them warning of the impending strike.
R Adaptions
| Point Cost | Adaption Name | Adaption Description |- | 3 | Stealth Maneuver Technology | Omega stealths his reticule information, removing the notification from enemies that he is arriving. | 3 | Tectonic Jets | Omega greatly empowers his thrusters, allowing for global range. | 3 | Atmospheric Screwdriver | Alters Omega's descent into a corkscrew pattern, applying additional damage based on how much HP the champion currently has.
###Play-style
Omega-X is one of the hardest scaling assassins that would be implemented and for good reason: He has one of the weakest early-mid phases in the entire game. In addition to being generally weak, players will have to plan far in ahead about what will be necessary for success and what is a secondary/tertiary objective. Thank to his passive, Omega-X can easily scale into one of the most terrifying champions in the game. The problem is getting to that phase. Players will have to be stealthy, work with their team and pick out targets at just the right time to maximize success.
Early game and mid-game, Omega is at his utter weakest. With melee range and subpar skills, one will have to be very cautious in using this champion. While kills are indeed enjoyable, one should focus on the easier and safer option of farming up their first few adaption points on minion-waves and tower kills. Junglers can help out and offer kills but such is a risky move, as Omega's skillset does not allow for much in the way of gank assistance. Upon hitting six, more avenues of attack open up. Rather than start fights, Omega is better off joining mid-way into fights to tip the scales and pick up a kill or two. All in all, the goal an Omega player should keep in mind is keeping his farm up while taking what he can.
When late game rolls around, however, a sufficiently farmed Omega will be quite a scary foe. With a decent amount of items as well as powerful kill tools once a few adaption points have been put into them, Omega can easily assassinate a target...possibly before a fight even happens. Omega is scariest in 1v1 situations where he can unload his burst on a target and keep them pinned, removing any hope of escape before their team can even tend to their missing teammate. At this stage, however, if Omega is stagnant in his farm and points than catching up will be next-to-impossible.
In team fights, a good Omega will pin down a valuable target and cut them down as fast as possible. The more fed Omega is, the more likely he can get rid of that target before they can even fight back. Furthermore, one should always value the costs of his skills versus how his team is doing: Should he leap in with his ultimate or stay back, cut them down and chase down the straggles with his skill? This essence of planning and adapting to whatever situation is presented to you is core to how you should play Omega.
Fighting Omega, the most powerful tool someone has is pounding him into the ground as early as possible. Champions like LeBlanc and Talon will outdamage him early while champions like Zed and Fizz will scale similarly with Omega but on far-less risky terms. Should things hit late game and Omega has sufficient points, the squishiest targets should always be guarded closely. Omega lacks a hard escape so if he dives in and doesn't get the kill, he's a free kill. Just as a good Omega should plan his every move, a good enemy should have a plan for everything he does. It's a war of who can outsmart who first...
###Personality/Look/Quotes
Omega-X should be sharp, angular and very, very pointy. The initial look should be something of an incredibly slim robot with dark colors. Adaption Engine use should also have meaningful changes to his model no matter how subtle they may be. Much like Kha'zix, a enemy will have to rely on distinguishing key changes to determine what upgrades the enemy is going for. As another hextech creation, Omega should have all the bells and whistles normal hextech champs have but with a slightly more futuristic twist to them. Above all, this should not be a friendly champion. He should be inhumanly lanky, inhumanly swift and just radiate a sense of wrongness not fit for a normal humanoid.
As for personality, it should be evident from the following quotes:
Upon Selection: "Adaption Engine primed. The reckoning of organics is neigh."
Movement
- "As you wish, no matter how incorrect your choice is."
- "There? Not a wise decision but very well."
- "Shift to the left if you want a better position for possible encounters."
- "Perfectly."
Attacking
- "Every outcome of this battle yields high results."
- "I am perfect. They are not."
- "Plasma blade primed for butchery."
- "Such soft, weak, pitiful creatures you all are."
Taunt
Omega-X raises his arm before it jolts, unsheathing his plasma blade.
- "The weak evolve. The perfect adapt."
- "Trillions of years went into your creation. A mere six months went into mine. How pathetic do you feel now?"
Joke
Omega-X opens his chest, sticking his arm into the adaption engine and pulling out...
- A poro. "No amount of adapting will prepare you for something THIS FLUFFY!"
- A plate with a sandwich on it. "I have absolutely zero use for this."
- A ward. "Well THIS is just cheating."
Death
- "NO! I AM PERFECT! I AM THE PINNACLE....I....AM...OFFLINE...."
- "Im...possible...you are...no....I...am flawed..."
- "Trillions of victories...and....you grasp, the one defeaaaaaaaaaaaa...bzzt."
Item Purchases
"My knowledge is infinite. You are not."
"The fact that I need a bow to slice your armor is redundant."
"Organic fluid to fuel me? What a novel concept."
"These are useless to me."

(etc.) "Still useless."
"Another spark dart to add to the collection."
Interactions

- "Hello...brother."
- "You are outdated, Blitzcrank. I am the future, I am the Omega."
- "Attempt to grab me and I will shear your fists from your connectors."

- "Creator, it is good to see you."
- "Now we shall see the creation surpass the creator."
- "You gave me being. I shall return naught but death."

- "An organic after my own heart?"
- "Consume and adapt? You take unnecessary steps, Kha'zix."
- "You call yourself the ultimate predator? How utterly adorable."
- (Evolved Q) "How quaint, you consider those claws an improvement."
- (Evolved W) "Power in quality, not quantity."
- (Evolved E) "You can't even fly with those, only leap. Pathetic."
- (Evolved R) "Change colors as much as you please, you are still inferior."

- "What beautiful optics...I'll tear them out."
- "You rely on a ball to do your bidding. How...primitive."
- "A terrible chassis for a terrible creation."

- "By all accounts, your chin should drag your face to the dirt."
