[Champion Concept] Montgomery, the Tin Tyrant
I started this concept around the idea of a champion with a bayonet. Naturally he evolved into a military man, and I figured why not have some fun and make him into an oversized tin soldier?
Montgomery is a military man through and through, but he only came to life when a mage's spell accidentally hit a child's toy. He is a ruthless tyrant, commanding respect through savage acts and heroic efforts on the battlefield.
Passive: Decorated War Hero
Montgomery permanently earns medals and badges for completing various tasks throughout the game. Each medal gives him a different stat buff or effect. I'll list all of the possible medals after the rest of his abilities.
Q: Rifle/Sword
Montgomery can swap between ranged (rifle) and melee (sword) basic attacks at no cost (short cooldown like jinx's q). When in ranged mode, Montgomery sacrifices attack speed for critical chance (and when I say sacrifices, I mean he loses a LOT of attack speed). Ranged attacks consume mana per shot.
W: No Mercy
Montgomery is ruthless, showing no mercy to his enemies. His basic attacks passively gain (1/1.5/2/2.5/3)% bonus damage for each 10% health the target is missing.
E: Run 'em Through
Montgomery stabs his opponent with his bayonet, dealing critical damage and slowing them briefly. (Can be used while Montgomery is in either ranged or melee mode)
R: Bombardment
Montgomery summons (2/4/6) large cannons that fire 3 shots each in the same parallel direction of his choosing (with a reload time between shots). Enemies hit are knocked back slightly and take massive physical damage.

- IF you manage to earn ALL 24 previous medals (in no particular order), you get the 25th medal and a super stats buff.
Note the x's are just placeholders, they are not all the same number. Progress medals like 100/200/300 minions DO NOT stack on each other, they just increase the stat by the same amount each time.
Montgomery does not lose medals when he dies, unlike Rengar who loses some of his trophies.
Some bonus hidden medals (that don't actually give stat buffs, they're just for fun) could include:
- Medal of Valor: Kill Quinn's bird Valor
- Nobel Peace Prize: Have 0 kills, 0 deaths, and 0 assists at 20 minutes
- Unbreakable: Have 0 deaths at 30 minutes
- Feeder: Die without inflicting any damage on your attacker
- Fall of the Void: Kill 5 void-based champions (can be the same one over and over)
Please take a second to vote whether you'd play Montgomery, and let me know what you think of him in the comments. Any feedback is always appreciated.
