What has happened to Fnatic?

Rekkles, the unkillable, has 7 deaths? SO4 is basically rolling through them like a bot match? Did losing Caps really hurt them that much? Holy cow this is crazy. World champs to 0-3 (probably soon to be 0-4).

What happened???

Personally I've always thought Fnatic was over hyped but them doing bad could be multiple things...could be like you said losing caps or maybe they haven't been training and working on their weaknesses which they have plenty of...starting with their undeserved ego and bad sportsmanship.

They are not new to bad/underwhelming starts, plus they lost a significant team member.

I would then hold my judgement, but yeah they don't look soo good right now and even if Nemesis plays good they need to find better cohesion as a team to go further.

It's definitely starting to look like both meta adaptation and synergy problems. While the org is no stranger to bad starts, it looks like this issue goes beyond that.

The roster is too steady; plain and simple. Along with that they're still green on some edges with Nemesis' rookie status and Bwipo's full starting spot. Think TSM or SKT last year where their identities were so clear they were beat because there were no fearless carries game after game. The best Fnatic has is Hyli and he's got a track record of being downloaded.

Being aggressive vs being meticulous. That's the biggest change they're struggling with in their lost members.

Caps leaving plain and simple. Rekkles didn't even play most of the Summer Split and FNC were still a top tier team that won games etc and it all comes down to Caps. One would have to look at Cloud 9 for the same start for NA.

Rekkles and Doublelift are both overrated and trash ADCs. They are both terrible unless someone else carries them for an entire split.
