Why I hate WE, Love IG, and Think IG is better than RNG.

So, let's go wayyyyyy back on how I became an Invictus Gaming fan:

Season 3 is what got me in to league of legends: Team Royal Club vs SKT. The finals!! My favorite player was Poohmandu because he was the most aggresive support I've ever seen, and he got away with it. He also popularized Zyra in the bot lane (currently one of my favorite champions). Soon after, Poohmandu retired from playing, only to Coach IG for a year. So I followed him and started watching Invictus Gaming. That's when I fell in love. Rookie and Kid were my favorites. Ever since then, even after Poohmandu was no longer a coach, I still followed them.

Now let's go to season 7. Season 7 was pretty good because IG was doing better than they usually do. But they lost in playoffs to EDG. They had to play the 3rd place match. After a crazy 5 game series, they won to team WE. But WE seemed very strong, specifically their ADC with Kog'Maw and Xayah. Regionals rolls around, and they get to rematch. This time, the 5 game series goes in the favor of WE. I was heart broken item 3070. IG loses it's chance. All they had to do was ban Kog'Maw ONCE. But I DIGRESS. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Worlds 2017 rolls around. The only thing I want is for WE to lose. They get into the quarter final match against my favorite NA team, C9. I highly expected C9 to sweep them, but they had the same problem IG had: WE's ADC, Mystic. Sneaky was an Amazing Kog'Maw and Xayah as well, but gave away Kog'Maw 4 out of 5 games. C9 lost game 5. I was 16 at the time and I stayed up on a f*cking Wednesday to see this at 3 AM only to see C9 lose. Again, I was heartbroken. THANKFULLY SAMSUNG GALAXY GAVE THEM WHAT THEY DESERVED THE FAT L ANYWAYYYYYYYYYYY Season 8. The underdogs to RNG and EDG finally have a miracle run. They seem as good as RNG if not better. But then Kid does the unthinkable. HE RETIRES.

ALLOW ME TO GET MAD FOR A SECOND. YOU COULDN'T HAVE WAITED 6 MONTHS WHEN YOU HAD A 17-1 SPLIT TO RETIRE???? RIGHT BEFORE MSI TOO? IF YOU DIDN'T RETIRE THEN THE 5 GAME SERIES IG PLAYED AGAINST RNG WOULD HAVE BEEN IN YOUR FAVOR. YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN FIRST SEED TO WORLDS. CMON

Sorry.

Anyways, If Kid didn't retire, IG would have been the best team to come out of LPL. They would have won worlds. This also would have happened last year (or at least they would have gone to semi's last year).

VERY UNORGANIZED BUUUT

That's why I hate WE, Love IG, and think if Kid was still on their roster, they would be better than RNG.
