Unicorns of Love vs ROCCAT The last two games were so extremely hype. Visicsacsi couldn't kill an inhib. And we have a FNC vs UOL series.

Sorry TSM fans for having to wait for 2 awesome matches.

Fucking roccat really had bad picks and bans until like the last two games.

Well, ROCCAT had bad picks and bans in Games 1 and 2, UOL had bad picks and bans in Games 3 and 4, and both teams overbaited each other in Game 5.

yeah i just facepalmed game 3/4 for UOL and then looking at UOLgoing from G4->G5 i just LAUGHED because it was just funny at how UOL approached both games. the game they needed to split, they were forced to team fight. the game they cud have team fought, they forced an effective split.

yeah i think that series was really funny because the 4th game UOL had a "lesser team fight comp" but somehow ROC forced them to team fight and for the last 20 minutes of that game they were trying to figure out HOW to avoid a team fight. then in game 5, their answer was ok 3 dmg item Gnar split push for the win EVEN THO this specific game is when i felt UOL had the stronger team fight. so they were avoiding team fights even though they could have won.

I felt like there was just a lot of unnecessary fear from BOTH teams(mostly UOL), but i guess that's what the series stress, quarterfinals pain brings.

i think UOL lost G3,4 bcuz of team comps

No need to apologize, T-Y. Those last two games were really fun to watch. Between the Gnar rush on inhibitor, to the Gnar ult/Pulverize/Shockwave combos, and the tug of wars there, I was on the edge of my seat. That's what I love most. Engaging matches to watch.

I can't wait to see the FNC vs UoL series. I'm expecting a heavyweight slugging from both teams, and if we're lucky, it'll go the distance with 5 games.

I can't wait to see the magic stampede coming. I'm calling it now, UoL in 5, and they'll face Origen in the finals.

I don't know if UOL will be the team to break the FNC win streak. it seems very unlikely but if they do that will be CRAZY im imagining FNC 24-0 season!!!!! LOL that'd also be CRAZY

As much as I want to see UoL win with their crazy plays, I would rather see FNC win and give the Western regions a good chance in Worlds.

But I'm expecting something fun in the semis. We currently have UoL vs FNC, OG vs H2K, and CLG vs TiP. That's just an awesome set of three right there.

If UoL did manage to win the semi-finals, I still think FNC would make it to Worlds. Not through points but at least through the 3rd place Qualifier bracket.

If FNC can't crush UoL then there is no way they are going to be able to beat SKT and EDG. If they have some fatal flaw it would be better if it got exploited now than at Worlds imo. As long as they still manage to get in there.

FNC would still make it to Worlds, but FNC will 1: Likely have to go against SKT, EDG, or ahq in group play, and 2: Be heavily underrated due to losing to UoL.

Hrm, getting put into a harder bracket would be a downside. I don't think being underrated is really an issue during Worlds tbh. The opinion of the Analysts doesn't matter as much as being able to win the games since it is for all the marbles.

I also think them losing to UoL would take away any self-imposed expectations and make them more dangerous if they didn't tilt because of it. As much as I <3 UoL I don't think it's likely either way, but sometimes getting knocked over early on (before it is a season ender) can be a great motivator.
