Garen is the worst of the juggernauts, even before his nerfs
People freaked out about him because they forgot how to deal with him after years of not seeing him in ranked.
I doubt he'll be picked. He loses badly to fiora, darius, gnar, etc.
A Chinese team will pull out Garen jungle out of the blue and somehow win with it.
garen is garbage. darius actually has the pull for utility as a tank and does everything garen does anyway besides the silence
Garen just isn't that good...
He's a monster in lane but he simply cannot carry or compete in these pro games with his lack of CC. He's just like a miniature Darius...
It is a shame that he wont ever be played seriously because Riot reworked him to fail. He stomps baddies and is useless against people who are good at game.
Mordekaiser wasn't seen
Garen is really fun on ARAM. Back off when low for about 10 seconds then go back in with max hp(or close to). It's great.
IDK thats the big deal about mord. He doesnt seem very good anyway
Now that everyone is used to the garen rework its easy to beat him and garen when behind is useless
Garen is not op as most of the people in the forums might say so as much as I want him to see play he probably wont.
I dont think we will see garen cause like people said he is just a worse daruis. The extra dmg he gets to the villain(cause that is all he has over darius) just dont compensate for how easily he will get kitted. The pull just lets darius give so much more to the team fight and he is still sucking from what we have seen so unfortunately we wont be seeing demaglio

I instantly dont want to feel game fighting garden, he is one of the most broken champions in game, I can deal with darius, flora, scarier and mordekaiser... but garen make me want to pack up my gloves and never play league again. this patch has made me nothing but unhappy
So what ya he was 100% banned. Cause noone wants to see him competively. And what does that tell you about the state of the champion

Some picks, the most interesting power picks each team has, the "Ace under the sleeve" won't be revealed until after group phase, probably even quarterfinals, unless you weren't even expecting to get out of groups in the first place (Cue C9's Veigar).
I wouldn't be surprised if Garen is currently some teams evil plan, I have my hopes on Garen and maybe Blitz and Nautilus.
I'd rather see Garen over Darius in these games. Darius has been extremely underwhelming in all the games I've seen him in so far.
