Thoughts? They are making poor champion select decisions, which they didn't make back when coaching was not allowed in the "huddle" so to speak. Like, why would you pick Sion for a protect the kog-maw? Maokai would have worked 100000x better. Its almost like they are over-thinking their champion selects now, and other teams are beating them in champ select.
While other teams are performing better with coaching help, C9 seems to be having way worse champ selects.
that is true didnt think of that. the coaches are questioning lemons notebook. but to be fair to hai he got hit hard when he went with meteos in the jungle and got screwed and then a 4 man hard dive putting him down even more.
I guess thats why hes not used, lol. But still, it seems they are losing the games before they even start, with poor champ selects, which is what they used to excel at. I mean they aren't playing that amazing either, but even the game before with Meteos picking Elise, etc. They could have picked anything but Sion.
Good. I don't have any of their players on my fantasy LCS team, so I hope they all go 0/10 and lose every match.
C9 is trying out new things. I'm not sure if it coach's fault or team's decision.
Maokai is disabled. But yeah, C9 has really been unimpressive. I really think Hai is the problem, he just hasn't been making any impact at all, he missed so many Fizz and Ori ults.
I believe its not coaching that has been going against them, but it appears (to me) that they are trying what they can and cannot do (they tried the fizz gnar comp at IEM and it failed there too). Personally I would prefer them to test stuff at the beginning (c9 isn't know to be amazing at the start of the season) then in the playoffs. Just my 2 cents
