Pro champ picks.

Is anyone else frustrated by riots balancing recently. Im not talking about in everybody's games, but just in LCS. Watching the NA/EU LCS, I think I watched the same pick/ban phase about 10 games in a row +/- 2 champions. Why does riot do this stupid "god tier meta" where there are just 2-3 champions in each role that are unstoppable to everyone except other god tiers. This calls for an unspoken agreement among teams to either give both teams a god tier in that lane, or give nobody a god tier and ban the lane out. The tower FB and loss of fortification in bot lane is the best thing they ever did to run the awful to watch lane swap meta, but now all we are seeing is the same game over and over again. Champion pools have become so small, that it just comes down to who can play reksai/gragas better. Gone are the days when someone picks a champion and everyone in the room watching cheers of excitement and surprise. Riot needs to find a way to balance this for next season, as its already too late for worlds, they top/jg champions have already been limited and decided for those many boring games to come.

Im willing to bet that 5/6 bans every game and 8/10 picks every game will be spent on these champions. That is less than 1/5 of the population of champions as a whole. Riot has tried to balance their game by eliminating 4/5 of the champions they created from the professional scene so that they only have to worry about balancing 20 champions. If you can only handle balancing 20 champions, then make a new game where there is only 20 champions, dont get our hopes up that you might actually fix the problems in your patches. So Riot please, in season 7, please make it so that LCS is actually fun to watch, you managed to fix the abysmal lane swap meta, which was the worst thing that ever happened to pro play, so now its your job to make it so there is at LEAST 10 top tier picks in each role (7 for ADC) so that going into champion select its not so predictable. Its dumb how ridiculously easy you have made it for teams to make a strategy. I get reksai, they get gragas, we know exactly how this game is going to go cuz we played this exact champion lineup in 10 of our last games. Teams need to go in and be able to ban 3 target bans based off the STRATEGY they want to play, not based off just banning the god tier picks.

TL;DR: Riot needs to make it so there are more viable picks in LCS, as the "god tier" meta of the same 2 champions in each role every game is boring and stupid because the teams have no variation in strategy or pick/ban now.
