Earl Eulrich2 voteswhile teams/players still deserve some more credit...i think if you compare MSI to worlds it really strikes true that MSI had been a much more enjoyable tournament that has been a lot less influenced by the pick&ban-phase (especially this semi both EU-teams lost most games in Champ-select already, sure, that´s part of the skill required to become the world champion, but nevertheless it made the games somewhat dull to watch).

Darius has 19:19 win rate. 50%. Fiora is 8:6. Highest winrates that were picked alot are Elise, Reksai, Gragas, Jinx, Kennen, Shen, Thresh, Anivia.

Yea. It's hard to look at it like this because some of the matchups were so one sided.
SKT was going to win their groups games with basically any reasonable comp. So all those wins had everything to do with the player and very little to do with the champ.

U mean its hard to look at it like this because some players were more skilled than others and beat them no matter what champions they play? Isnt that what OP is trying to bullshit about? That skill doesnt matter but champion you play? He said Darius is getting abused for free wins at worlds. Wtih 38 picks 19 wins 19 losses. If we followed logic, wouldnt it mean that Darius is perfect embodiment of balanced champion? 50% winrate in 38 games? What can be more balanced than that?

I actually dont know if 38 games is enough. But I don't feel that Darius is as OP as some other champs.
What I am saying is that if SKT plays the Titans, Titans can pick whatever marksman they want and put Bang on whatever marksman they want and SKT still wins. So it's not that... say.. Miss Fortune is OP and SKT wins. It's that BANG is OP and SKT wins.

EXACTLY. THATS EXACTLY WHATS HAPPENING IN SOLOQ TOO. People get owned by better player, and then blame champion,because they cant simply admit that someone is more skilled than them. Players make champions look OP.

Yes , and then every next game Balls played him, he lost with crap score, because everyone knew how to deal with him. And he didnt "abuse" him, he used his mechanics perfectly in that 1 teamfight.
But tell me this, following simple logic nothing else. What winrate % champion needs to have after 40 games to be considered BALANCED? Just simple answer.

Not only are you denying the talent these players pull out but you're putting immense emphasis on whatever is picked, despite the fact that "underpowered" champions have done just as well, if not better than, these so called broken characters. Zac gets pulled out at worlds and goes 2-0. Kennen ADC returns from season 1. Anivia pops into play despite being untouched for ages.
