I hoped that newly-hyped "Trinity Garen Master Build" comes into LCS soon

That is something highly unique & wished I get the chance to see it in competitive play.

I hope I don't see anything in LCS at some point.

i dont want to ever see garen in pro play.

if its not some hypermobile "bigplays" champion like lee sin, irelia, the new akali or something similar that just looks insanely flashy, it usually gets nerfed into the ground for being viable in pro play.

why do you think theyre buffing lee sin for every worlds patch, inlcuding this year to a point where he has 30% pickrate in solo que?

remember when nunu was lcs viable as a jungler? remember when darius dared to do his job and was able to carry games when pro players built teamcoms around him?

when it comes to pro play, riot has a massive obvious bias that they only want to see champions that generate a lot of viewers and make casters scream at the top of their lungs for some turret dive combined with 50 dashes across the screen.

im happy that hes good enough in solo que that you can climb into masters with him. gives me a goal to work towards. i have the feeling that i can still improve and get better on the champion and eventually get there. thats it.

if you want to know how much it fucking sucks to have your champion be an lcs pick, ask shen mains.

Unless it's someone like AmazingJ, I don't see it being anything of replicated. Hell, what are the odds AJ even acknowledged that?

I wouldn't hold your breath too much. Garen doesn't offer as much reliable cc and durability as some other staple pro scene tanks and his split is weaker than that of many bruisers and fighters. In the pro scene, it's usually a lot more about what you offer your team than about what your champ can do individually - unless you are an insane splitpush threat that can 1v1 all potential opponents (mid, top, sometimes jg or adc too) at every point in the game.

Also, pro's will coordinate better than you see in solo queue and therefore punish garen more reliably than even master and challenger tier players. Furthermore, even a renekton can outscale a garen via conqueror and correct itemization. Ranged champs would abuse him in lane and potentially later too - jayce, kennen, etc. And then there's the fact it gives stuff like maokai or malphite a mostly free farm laning phase. Or rumble abusing his waveclear and early game damage - sure garen eventually outscales, but you gave rumble a very good lane to farm up in and become a mid game teamfight monster who can still waveclear by tower vs garen later into the match.

The point being... unless garen snowballs via the player being far superior or extremely lucky and good jg ganks, it wouldn't do nearly as well as one might expect. And perhaps even more importantly, it isn't likely to be blind picked due to other champs offering more safety, more reliability, or just plain out-classing him at a particular job deemed highly important to pro play. I could see him being a pocket counter-pick if your opponent has already clearly chosen their toplaner, but that's about it for pro play.

Garen is to LCS as Pumpkin Spice is to coffee.

Just don't.
