Ale non è male2 votesNah, aHQ actually didn't fight that bad, it is just that you can't allow SKT to have champs that can hugely snowball upon a tiny advantage like Fiora and Tristana, and that when you focus on doing a thing you can't split up and you must do it as quick as possible The play on which ahQ got dragon, ended up badly because they played well with the TP first, got dragon priority, but instead to take down dragon very quickly and go away, they kept taking dragon hits while chasing Marin and so they ended up with 2 guys killed rather than having clean dragon and one SKT down with room to push cleanly to try to turn game around
Earl Eulrich1 votesyea, i think SKT actually has shown some weaknesses today - if AHQ would be more deceisive in some situations they could have won both games...or at least made them a lot closer. If SKT runs to the finals undeafeted they might actually get bested by either fnatic or an EDG that is back in form.
JRobin311 votesWell idk, in game 3 you look at the team compositions and you can see that even if AHQ does well early it won't matter later. I think the fact that AHQ did well in game 3 was calculated by SKT. Faker might not have expected to die a couple times to Fizz. Marin might not have expected to die a couple time to Ziv. But the composition was better for SKT. And , of course, Bang might not have expected to get hooked so many times (but Kench stopped those deaths).
Earl Eulrich1 votesSKT is not a team that just gives away games, and Game 3 AHQ should have won without that really bad baron-call...You really overestimate SKT if you think that this had been anywhere near the game that they wanted to play. Westdoor just stepped up and without the midlane pressure Bengi couldn´t control the map as easily anymore and seemed a tad lost at times...SKT really relies on dominating the lanes, and a team like Fnatic (or EDG with Koro1) that will give them a very hard time in every lane can most likly beat them (heck, even OG has a slight chance after seeing this series).
Ale non è male1 votesI agree on the fact that SKt does not give away games and you actually got to earn everything from them, being probably the only team at Worlds which has this feature SKT relyng on dominating the lanes...I don't agree so much. It really doesn't matter for them to dominate the lane or not, as long as they have strategic control of the game. Game 3 aHQ was winning not because SKT was losing games, but because they were hooked in the "always fight with controlled chaos" aHQ style. Even when Ziv and Westdoor were killing marin and faker, it wasn't the advantage you get upon killing the enemy that was leading aHQ to win, but the fact that SKT wasn't finding a way to take back the control of the pace of the game, until aHQ made a bad call
Earl Eulrich1 votesguess we have some differences about cause and effect here...i think SKT went into the chaos in the first place because Ziv had been pressuring Marin, Westdoor got the better of Faker and the bot 2v2 still needed some tping to tilt into SKTs favour - so Bengi really hadn´t been free to just roam around and set up vision like he had before, limiting SKTs options and forcing them into decissions they usually don´t make, as they usually would have more options/information - ultimatly leading into a way more chaotic and less controlled game. Either way though, I think AHQ showed some weaknesses - and whoever wins the Fnatic-EDG quarters will have a good shot to do a lot better than AHQ.
Ale non è male1 votesI don't think SKT went out of control, was aHQ that forced the plays to take themselves control and SKT couldn't do anything else except try to do their best in the situation aHQ forced them into until they could react or AHQ allowed them to react SKT in the single game is not unbeatable, that's for sure, but I still see them as heavy favourites against any team
I am interested to see the semifinals as I think OG has decent chances to take 1 game off of them as they do less bad calls than aHQ and if they can get in an advantage situation similar to ahQ in game 3 they could be able to close the game and extend the series

Fnatic looked horrible against AHQ, so what gives you any hope Fnatic can beat SKT, after SKT just demolished AHQ?
