TSM....

*Edit - Alright what a great rebound against WE, who was looking fantastic after taking down FlashWolves. TSM are so much better when they play to their strengths and focus on their solo lanes rather than trying to get flashy. Great job TSM!

Seriously, so disappointing. You put the team on the shoulders of the 2 players who have been the least impressive on the entire team (Turtle and Sven) rather than rely on your proven stars.

I wonder if they got the memo you don't get a best of 3 or best of 5 during the group stage to figure out how to play the game.

I dont understand, really. TSM never shows any performance in international scene, yet every time people are surprised.

I'm surprised with this result for 2 reasons.

  1. We just came back to beat them so you'd think they still had an idea of how to play against GAM.

  2. Wtf was that draft? All split long they have relied on Bjergsen and Hauntzer. Why change that now at MSI? (For the record I've belt Hauntzer's Nautilus has been excellent, but if you're having Bjergsen go with a more supportive mid-laner, why is he playing a tank?

With that being said, I'm hoping for a strong rebound in their upcoming match against WE. Still rooting for them and backing our boys!

They better ban Gragas then or Sven may just play excessively cautious/careless around him like he has been.

I dislike Sven on Graves actually. Maybe it's confirmation bias but it feels like every time I watch him on it he is almost a non-factor. I think GAM did a great job getting Gragas early as he was a huge factor in the play-in series.

I'm hoping that they shift focus back to the stars on this one and can turn things around. I think that the format for the group stage plays against their strength of adapting to their opponent between matches though, and WE looked VERY strong against FW.

He was a god a while back on him, but I think the meta shifted too much where he no longer can just face roll the opponents anymore.

Yeah, it seems like most of the time it's being over aggressiveness then paying the price for it.

I liked his Lee Sin game against WE much more. Camping Hauntzer so that he can win lane and then push seems like the way for TSM to win. To me, they're not a "cutsie" team like Flyquest or Misfits. They don't need tricky team comps or lane swaps. Stick to what you're good at and meet the competition head on and trust that you have the ability to win against them.

That and put Turtle on either Jinx, Ashe, or a mobile ADC. Someone who he can either self peal, escape, or eventually hard carry with / steal all the buffs.

Well, no rebound this year.

Well, they looked great against WE, but they were outplayed in both games today. Good early game from them but the mid-late game macro from FW was much better than TSM.

I don't think either of these results are too surprising though. :/

I've been here before... surrounded by a crowd rooting for TSM... I joined the chant (for some reason)... they lost to FNC.... I turned around and saw AHQ fans.... I went up a couple of rows... The End...
