that they have to taint a legacy like C9 the way they did
I will be the first to say I am a huge fan, but can also agree Cloud 9 players just don't give a fuck half the time
i.e playing WoW on stream during worlds instead of scrimming(when they were competing in season 5)
and lately just kind of being non challant about not being the best, it could have been handled better however.
Idk if I'm sad or pissed (both maybe?), C9 fucked up to start GG, Keith, and ZZ fully knowing that GG and Kieth are nothing more then gate keepers into the LCS, let alone better then Jensen or Sneaky, even in a shit whole meta change. As a fan (and I think I can speak for most true C9 fans), we would of rather watched C9 fall apart with Jensen, Sneaky, and Smoothie then watch lesser talents (that the entire fan base of pro LoL knows) lose us games. I wish Smoothie well, I think Jack and Reapered are making a huge mistake letting him go for ZZ who just hasn't shown us that he is anything more then the support version of Keith or GG.
Releasing Contractz for Sven, trading Smoothie, C9 is doing everything they can from a higher management standpoint to get in there own way. Lic has come into his own, Jensen is still a top mid laner, and Sneaky's time to shine will come back when ADCs stabilize. Getting rid of a top 3 support and a up and coming home grown talent at Jungle (for a old and fading talent) has ruined S8 for us.
It's getting harder and harder to trust the process.
