I don't even consider NA a region, tbh. It's Korea > Taiwan > EU. NA is just there for a good laugh every now and then.

way to promote our country. Na is the Best of all regions. League was created here. on another note we all know Korea is actually the best performers. This will never change. Same as Starcraft.

What obligation do I have to promote our country? When they give me something to work with I'll consider it, but there's no point in betting on a three legged horse. C9 was a hopeful last season, but this year they've haven't done that well. NA isn't even a factor in the League world right now. It's just a free win for everyone else and a wasted 40 minutes of the viewers time.

Even if Korea will always be the top performer, we seem to always be the WORST performer. I'd cheer for them if they at least made an impact, but right now it's like watching a fly smack into the windshield. Loud and obnoxious, but of little to no consequence.

"Our country"? NA isn't a country, last I checked.

Additionally, North Americans have no obligation to promote their own region on the world stage.

Yes doing better than NA in 1 major tournament the past year and a half makes EU better.

Actually in the past year it was NA that did better than EU - first at worlds (though that could go different if not for racist Sven's ass) then at IEM. EU however is known to perform well and even win against the best teams in the world - unlike NA teams. The issue is, EU teams are always horribly incosistent. One day they look like the world champions, other they get squashed by the likes of Kabuum. You could say that SEA teams have the same problem. S2 champions and since then nothing, other than a few good games against top teams. So yeah, considering achievements and potential, NA has never really been in a discussion for a top3 region.
