Why do NA teams put so much priority on Scrims?

NA players are becoming objectively worse than EU players. Even EU imports become worse players the longer they stay in NA. Solo Q in NA needs to be an environment that can can produce a high concentration of good players because the region simply doesn't have a high enough volume of players.

I see no reason why there are 100-120 players between LCS and Academy who are meant to be 'the best of NA' and there's maybe 50 of them on the Challenger Ladder.

If riot would just not allow their smurfs to be on the challenger ladder that would open it up. Also alot of na challengers are otp's which wouldnt fly in lcs for a minute.

NA doesn't care about esports and only play to make a living. They make around 150k being a pro player and they don't pay for food or shelter. there's really no incentive to be competitive aside from NA LCS cause there's nothing to fight for.

An over reaction to a meta change. EU picked it up a bit quicker. But one year ago, NA picked it up a bit quicker and won rift rivals.

Also Solo Q in NA covers far more territory. 60 ping vs 10 on the pro server.
