KT knows EDG has 4 members in that brush, they know this because they just watched the team walk over wards to clear out vision around baron, yet they decide to face check it like there is 0 chance EDG can be there. Very suspect.

But how would KT losing benefit KT you ask? well If EDG were to lose the next game it ensure KT finish number 1 in the group, so if EDG were to be like yeah will throw the game vs TL if you let us win this one.

They didn't know they were in there. They could just as likely just have started the baron.

They had to facecheck it.

Korea can't save NA's Win/Lose record at Worlds every year like LCK did back in 2016 and 2017 for Cloud 9/SKT. Why not just try different type of strategies, champions etc in a losing effort knowing you're still going to be #1 in the groups.

You know how else KT could have locked 1st in group? By winning vs EDG. Not seeing how wintrading benefits KT here.
