KT knows EDG has 4 members in that brush, they know this because they just watched the team walk over wards to clear out vision around baron, yet they decide to face check it like there is 0 chance EDG can be there. Very suspect.

But how would KT losing benefit KT you ask? well If EDG were to lose the next game it ensure KT finish number 1 in the group, so if EDG were to be like yeah will throw the game vs TL if you let us win this one.

I don't maybe the 2002 World Cup match fixing was a hoax and i'm just a conspiracy nut. Really makes you think [slayer-jinx-wink]

They didn't know they were in there. They could just as likely just have started the baron.

They had to facecheck it.

They could've facechecked it before pushing the wave while EDG had members in the baron pit clearing out wards that KT can see. Instead they pushed the mid wave much further then they needed to and allowed EDG to setup a death brush and then face checked it.

Also, Zero reason they needed to send the whole team to drake and give up mid priority in the first place and Ucal could've dropped a pink in that brush before the wave push while KT knew they had a number advantage around that brush. They also have Swain too check baron

If you look at it like that you can find a mistake like that in every game and say it's rigged.

Afreeca was basically trolling their first two games, Vitality threw their first game vs C9 hard, G2 almost lost 2 times to a wildcard and was doing questionable shit in both games.

If you look at it like that you can find a mistake like that in every game and say it's rigged.

The difference being that KT hadn't really made any macro mistakes the entire worlds and then they made like 5 in a span of 30 seconds including the really obvious one of not using Swain to check baron.

KT went full KT

I watched all the KT games on Summer as a huge KT fan and I'm not really impressed that they went mental boom on this game considering that they were being too clean, specially Score who played it horrible.

It's still a 5-1 and only losing one map to a LPL team, the most important is that they are will not draft AFS on Quarters.

KT plays to be ahead. They go even or not have momentum, bad things start to happen. Proven well by the summer. All it takes is better aggression or equal macro to mess them up and it definitely exists in this tournament.

Korea can't save NA's Win/Lose record at Worlds every year like LCK did back in 2016 and 2017 for Cloud 9/SKT. Why not just try different type of strategies, champions etc in a losing effort knowing you're still going to be #1 in the groups.

2018 Didn't qualify for worlds because washed up region, washed up Faker and washed up team.

I mean when other regions take and take and take it's players. LCK 1 'bad' Worlds showing(From their usual performances of 89-25 in the group stages) and people lose their minds. Faker is declining but one has to think what does he have to gain to put in the time as he once did? He's already the GOAT and any #2 is far, far, far from him as far as skill or achievements.
