Need Help Identifying New LCS Pro Player

I read a recent article about a new LCS player but now I can't find the article anymore. I was wondering if someone could help me identify him.

Here's what I know:

I think he's Korean
Climbed the solo queue ladder playing EXCUSIVELY LEE SIN and Cho Gath.
Recently recruited into a Chinese LCS Team
...or passed on Chinese LCS Team in order to play for American Team. (this last one i might have this confused with someone else)

My apologies, mate. I"m just slightly tired of Lee Sin, since his high pick rate in... well, in general.

I wish I could help you (maining Cho'Gath, though, that is kind of interesting), but I'm not well-versed in the going-ons behind the scenes. At the very least, my comment would bump your thread, and make it more likely you'll get the response you need(?).

Silver lining, yay. But seriously, sorry about my cynicism.

It's okay, I'm probably more cynical than you.

I think he just played Cho when he couldn't get Lee and couldn't dodge. He played almost exclusively Lee Sin ranking up the Solo Q ladder.

That's... really limited. Lee is one of the more popular picks, not to mention only playing one or two champions is... eh. Not to mention that Lee Sin has been played to death at this point.

Does he bring anything new to the table, or is he a generic cookie cutter pro that the playerbase has generalized?

I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I'm not impressed so far. I'm sorry, I really am sorry for being cynical, but it's like every pro has mained Lee Sin at some point. Most pros, from what I hear, have a small pool (about five?) of champions that they specialize in, and it's not impressive if Lee Sin is only one of two. I'd be more impressed if he mained Nautilus, or hell even Kha'Zix.

I guess we'll have to wait and see :/

That sounds a lot like the jungler Rush from Team Impulse. He is a Lee Sin main who was the #1 Korean solo queue player and was drafted into the LCS a few months ago. He has had a really good Spring split even though he had to learn how to do lane swaps as he went. I dunno if he played Cho or if he was recruited to a Chinese team but you might check out his story.

There is a player named Peanut who had a similar background, as well, but I don't know too much about him so you'll have to look that one up.

I've been looking for him for weeks, but I couldn't find that one passage in that one article about how he climbed the Korean Solo Queue Ladder.... so I wasn't entirely sure it was the right guy, until now:
