Trist is more reflecting massive problems in the ADC itemization, not in her own kit. Although the un-needed buff to Q pushed her over the top with the ADC itemization changes.

I say IE needs to have the pickaxe replaced with a longsword, and the price/stats adjusted to reflect it down to 60 AD and like 3200 gold. It shouldn't match items who's main draw is raw AD, like BT and Reaver. I still feel a real pure AD item would help a lot though for AD caster itemization.

The main draw of those other items isn't AD though. The main draw of BT is lifesteal, and the main draw of Reaver is SUPPOSED to be mana (Riot keeps screwing this up.) The main draw of IE is damage, which it does well.

Trist does what she does, and does so reliably, which is what competitive teams, especially in NA and EU, value most. I still find her irritating, though.

She outputs a terrific amount of damage from a big to the biggest range in the game, and she's forgiven for TWO mispositionings in the same small time windows. She's way too good not to pick her, in all level of play. She can farm under turret due to E explosion, and has an escape from level 1/2. Plus an ability to smash objectives. Every game reaches 25-30 min, and she just wreck at that stage. You need just one fight and with resets you can get double or triple even if behind.

There is no one that can compete with her, not even late game kog or vayne.

The W reset is probably the culprit here. You can not go HAM after she used it as if she kills someone in your team not only she gets the kill, but she'll escape too.
