TL vs C9: Game 5. Wtf was TL doing?

Well let's start at game 3. TL was going for the infamous jugger'maw build but they prioritized obtaining Kog'Maw over Corki in draft pick when Corki essentially plays a larger role in the jugger'maw build than Kog'maw himself. Corki would have been a safe pick for ADC if C9 stole Kog'Maw afterwards, which would be very unlikely considering their team comp.

Fast forward to Game 5. The winner goes on to the Spring NA LCS finals. And what does TL do? They don't ban Hecarim and they go with Lulu mid. LULU MID.

They went Lulu mid because their comp was protect Piglet again. Why? Because Piglet is the biggest emotional player on that stage. And so they decided to put it in his hands because he usually shines when it is in his hands. Piglet is an emotional player. They really need a psychologist for Piglet instead of trying to solve the problems on their own. Piglet honestly doesn't allow other players on his team to shine. He wants to be that player because he is a world champion. But he is honestly over rated in my opinion. It's either have him be emotional and down on everyone, or give the kid what he wants which is being the start in jugger'maw.

For the 3rd game, C9 knew what they would be going for. They purposely left Lulu up because they will pick her and just go the jugger'maw. So TL being TL, was predictable in that game. And C9 knew it. So they just dove them because they didn't have much damage besides Piglet. And their front line was just better than TL

They could have went for anything. TL had it in their mind that Corki was the end all be all. C9 taking it tilted them. You can see it from the face cams during Pick/Bans.

They could have picked an assassin mid or a carry top for quas, though I hate not having Lulu Top and second threat mid, but they seem to think Corki is definitely how Jugger'Maw works. It isn't.

The key behind a Jugger'Maw is Lulu/Kog and 1 other Damage threat. GE (the cause of this craze) has run EZ/Kog/Lulu/Lee/Janna (this being the most common iteration but Nunu for Lee does more for space in the late game) or Kassadin/Lulu/Lee/Kog/Nami (once again Nunu for Lee works).

I have absolutely no idea where the Piglet hate is still coming from after this weekend. Piglet had very little to do with the 3 losses and a whole LOT to do with the 2 wins.

Regular season was different but unless someone has some inside info, this loss was not on Piglet.
