RIOT: Stop Posting YouTube LCS Match VOD's as "Unlisted"
...because doing so makes your videos unsearchable of course. Which can also make them impossible to view. How is this a problem? Well if you use something called a "television" and/or a set-top box (or internet-enabled Blu-Ray player as in my case) and it's "YouTube" app, which only has basic video search functions, you cannot even FIND the video and thus: YOU CANNOT WATCH MATCHES!
Now of course... this nonsensical "privacy policy" designed for oversharing 12-year old girls (or boys in this case) isn't even logically enacted. Matches sometimes start off firewalled only to become unlocked days later. In other cases they just stay locked out.
I fail to understand how steering 50K+ traffic to "copycat" non-official copyright-infringing posts makes RIOT or its Sponsors any USD. Nor do I comprehend how this makes anything more convenient for I, the Viewer. Furthermore, if I were completely new to the LCS scene and didn't even know LoL E-Sports is/was a "channel" (or what a YouTube channel is for that matter), I wouldn't even know where to find things. AND of course... if I want to watch a match on me big HDTV screen without some "fancy mobile device" (which defeats the reason FOR a set-top box)... well that is not apparently going to happen.
So Riot, O Great Media Content Distribution Masters; Who thy LCS content of course as we all know is widely broadcasted on ESPN, NBC, ABC and whatever... PLEASE STOP MAKING IT HARDER TO WATCH YOUR STUFF!
Oh wait.............

Update to Post: It appears the "Locked" status is auto-triggered by Total Views. For Example: For Week 4 Day 2 of EU LCS action 2 matches share difference statuses but yet the same day:
For Example: Elements vs Gambit... is not locked and with 50K+ Views
Whereas;
Copenhagen Wolves vs Fnatic IS Locked out at time of this Update with less then 50K Views
Other posts, such as full day posts, seem to have even higher view requirements. Also it appears that there is a minimum time until something CAN be unlocked; and if View Count Levels are not maintained, they are taken back off again (if a match doesn't go above 100K for example). Thus of course this system is all EVIL of course and without meaning....
Indeed it is so...
