They say that because NA was garbage in previous seasons. But looks like the tables have tabled.

Its kinda meaningless to look at it now. Last worlds NA did decent in first week of group stage, then in second week went 0:10. CLG is already out, H2K went to next stage. Everyone expected G2 to do bad considering their MSI performance. CLG almost won MSI. Yet both of them ended up last in their groups. EU already left group stage thanks to H2K, which is much better than NA did last season, none of NA teams left group stage.
