Link is a good fit for C9

Link's play style and personality is similar to that of Hai. When he replaced Hai during All Stars, C9 did farily well.

Some are saying c9 incarnati0n, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being Link.

Link couldn't fill the role. Besides the small champion pool, low mechanics (so supportive carry) style. Hai was the primary shotcaller and honestly a respected member of the team. How can you respect someone you have dumpstered on so heavily since you entered the scene?

I think Hai is overrated.

Having followed c9 since their LCS qualification matches, I think Meteos is the true carry on the team.

Hai wasn't a carry on the team. He was the shotcaller and a supportive carry. He even states as much in the interview when they qualified for LCS.

It has nothing to do with Hai being overrated or not. It has to do what he did with the team, I don't think Link could fill that gap or even come close to replicating what Hai did.

I think Hai is overrated as a shotcaller. Meteos and Lemonnation are very strategic minded and can take over the shot calling.

Agree to disagree. I think Hai was pivotal and finding a good replacement is going to be extremely difficult.

I don't think link is good enough for 1.

But more importantly I don't think C9 needs a supportive mid laner. I think they need a carry. Balls has not been carring games this year. Balls doesn't need to be replaced if you can get a carry mid laner. He is still good.

If you are saying that C9 needs a Carry Mid Laner (like Bjerg) then Link would not fill that role. He's just as much a Supportive Mid as Hai was, and about the same in terms of mechanics/champion pool.

exactly I don't think they can find someone as good as Bjerg but that is the direction they should look too.

Tbh, they were about equal in skill and very similiar in playstyle. I think the hardest part about finding a replacement for Hai, will be finding someone who can shotcall nearly as well.

No absolutely not. Link is not good at all, even Hai was better. If Link joins C9, they will drop off massively, oh and don't forget how much he chokes when it matters.

Maybe C9 over performed, but with Link, C9 beat FNC and OMG in Season 4's all star group stage.

Link excels at the right environment.

Would love to see pobelter on a team like c9; I think they could use a carry mid later.

Link is pretty bad. He is a good dueler but as a shot caller, OMG No.

No, to be honest, C9 shouldn't have removed Hai. I can't think of a NA player that is at the same level Hai was and his shot calling.

It wasn't C9 decision. Between poor performance overall on his own and his wrist getting much worse, Hai stepped down. He says it himself that he had 1 more split at best because he couldn't keep up with his wrist problems.
