"Bjergsen named MVP earlier in the day" Wait, what? Don't tell me I had to suffer through EU LCS to miss that.

It was mentioned on the Analyst Desk by Dash briefly when they were panning to group photo shoots of IMT and TSM with the fans. As for an interview, they're probably holding onto that for tomorrow.

I hope so! I was looking forward to the MVP ceremony. EU did theirs today, but I suppose that's because their MVP was playing today.

That's because Rekkles also played today obviously. He's on stage therefore get the interview out of the way at the same time. Plus imagine tomorrow's audience. I can safely assume that they'll have some time for an interview before the game.

OR Riot looked at votes and asked "how the hell did Olleh not win?!?" and are going to downplay the awful injustice of this award.

Very interesting, I personally thought since the meta was turning into this "free for all" support meta in some ways, as well as when Smoothie asked Riot " What does a support have to do to win MVP"? Riot/players/random people/fans etc would give the award to Olleh when there was an article/video/interviews etc of Olleh getting rank 1 in solo Q and Riot made a big deal out of it on the dive etc. I thought giving the award to Olleh would not only be a change of fresh air, but also give solo Q players an incentive to some degree to play support and to show players that even tho you're the support, you can still carry and be the most valuable player on your team............ suppose not huh?
