How do players feel about patches?

I'm not trying to put words in peoples mouths, but this is the situation as I see it.

Every single patch changes the game.

Your team can have a good strategy for the entire season. Then go to worlds and find out you are playing on a patch that more or less ruins the strategy that got you there.

I can't think of any other "sport" that changes the rules of the game mid season. Especially, to change the rules in between play offs and regular season.

E-sports != athletic sports which yes, have rules change mid season. Patches are part of every evolving game. I am not even sure what the point of this post is lol.

I think when pros got into the lcs, they already knew that league has patches like it does. Every sport is different, and has its own traits. For league, patches are part of those traits.
