Review every report. 14 day ban for all first time offenses. Permaban for all repeat offenders.

EDIT: Make false reporting an offense. Same rules, 14 day for first offense, perma for repeated offense.

I like it. I think they need to be stricter, particularly with the false reporting. To tie into this, they should have a better/clearer support page that describes what is considered toxic, with examples. And in reform cards, they should have hyperlinks on the offending phrases/words that link to said support page, so kiddies can stop freaking out about "OMG WHY WAS I BANNED" and it will help them understand Riot's position on their behavior.

no

I take it that you just went straight to a 14 day ban. Is that a correct assumption?

Review every report

And I'm sure Riot is supposed to magically materialize the people needed to review every report from millions of players?

Yall so full of shit it cracks me up.

Every single day someone complains: "ban this troll Rito","someone banned my intended pick", "I report hate speech and nothing happens".

Then when it comes time to man up, yall bitch out.

Where the upvotes at? All of a sudden none yall want toxic people to be punished?

Let me make a thread about forgiveness and yall downvote the hell out of that too. Then you come at me with, "why should we have to be nice to people that break the rules?". Oh a goody, "It's really not hard to be nice and follow the rules".

Yall just want to sit on a forum and act superior.

The whole point of the system now is to give people a chance to reform. I agree that Riot should review reports more but I don't think people should instantly go to a 14 day ban except in extreme cases (racism, death threats, etc.)

as someone who has basically has unlimited accounts and IP address is I still wouldn't care.

{quoted} Review every report. 14 day ban for all first time offenses. Permaban for all repeat offenders.

Riot does acknowledge that people occasionally have bad days though, which this system does not allow for. Sure, if your "bad day" involves death threats and hate speech than a ban is warranted. But if your "bad day" means a bit of negativity and being angrier at your jungler than perhaps is necessary it's probably reportable but not necessary_ ban_-worthy, especially in a one-off situation.

I'd be fine with a system that goes "Hey...looks like you may have had a bad game. Consider taking a break before playing another one" in an instance like that, but I'm not sure I'm okay with a hard two-strike system in cases of mild and extremely infrequent toxicity.

there should be an auto 14 day ban for hate speech toxic trolling your teammates real life threats Intentionally going afk (when they admit to it)

People tend to take their anger out on their teammates and a red line needs to be drawn to not only say "its not ok" but to force people to reform, not give them another 5 opportunitys to be toxic.
