So last year, Zyra support was all the rage. It wasn't everywhere, but when it was around it made big impacts... until 
and she literally became the counter that constantly won that matchup.
Does a Korean team have a counter to Ardent meta? Will they just play better and win. Will they just ban the supports.

woodvsmurph1 votesAh... you missed a key difference here. Last season, it was countering a CHAMPION. This season, you are asking to counter an ITEM. Items don't always have counterpicks. Sure you can go blitz or thresh or maybe even leona (come on lpl), but they are a risk. The enemy adc will do probably 1.5x the dps of your adc mid/late game and your adc isn't 1.5x as tanky as theirs despite any supportive tank items (
) that you build. So you basically have to SNOWBALL early - just being up 30cs and a kill means nothing. And if you do such a pick, you are telegraphing to the other team WE ARE PLAYING ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY AROUND BOT LANE GUYS. PICK WHATEVER YOU WANT TOP AND MID - IT'S NEVER GOING TO GET GANKED. Which is really bad in case you were wondering.
