I think it would be really cool to see how much money each player actually makes.. with high salary comes expectation.. its one of those things that actually motivates elite players like burgerking who is becoming complacent.

Can we see your salary? Actually post your resume too. I think it would be really cool to see.

It would be cool to at least see an estimate, or maybe a team collective income. But it is up to them to share. You know, with privacy of personal info and all. Still, we do know contract amounts for a lot of pro sports players, but that could be just because it is custom or maybe it is necessary for the public to now for reasons.

To be honest, I really don't care what each player makes. But I am a little interested in just how big of an income the job could provide.

Lol this post is becoming an economics view on the monetary details and economic impact of a professional player of video games

There you go ;) That's not including endorsements and free gear. So could be more. Also I don't think their salaries are going to be that big maybe in the upper middle class 30-60k range if they're lucky.

Their "salary" probably isn't huge. But you gotta remember that they get a lot of shit paid for like their housing and food so it's more than the number would suggest.

Also, players like Bjerg and other popular streamers make more money from streaming than they do from being a pro, unless they win like Worlds or something and get the big prize pool.

I would think it would be pretty hard to gauge. It is sort of like the military. The salary may be low, but you have to factor in the fact that their living expenses are essentially paid for. Streaming and other gigs add to the base salary, and large payouts like Worlds or other events boost it further.
