Urgot and Aatrox were both champs that had evident nerfs and/or nothing done to them but their kit just works out. It emerged so late that other champs took priority in visibility. Either way they've both had counters.
And I clearly recall a period where Kaisa was not priority and she has absolutely suffered nerfs from her release state.
Meta was pretty fine. It was the team on stage that chose whether or not to innovate or show more than needed for the next round. Or did we just happen to forget how much C9 stretched their pool for their series and through the RR?
