Thoughts after the thrilling CG vs 100T Series. Blue Side vs Red Side

If you have not seen the CG vs 100T Semifinals series, there are some spoilers down here, just wanted to throw that out there.

The semfinals match between Clutch Gaming and 100 Thieves was one of them most exciting I've watched but I couldn't help but feel that it could have gone the other way if the team with side selection on game 1 was Clutch. In that series and others in the past few weeks, blue side has had an overwhelming dominance. 100% winrate in the CG vs 100T series. I understand that the team that wins in the head to head or the higher seed gets to pick the side and that is fair but I was wondering if Riot will do anything to change the dominance of the First Pick blue side. Red side is forced to ban swain and other powerpicks in the draft often giving them a weaker draft and giving the advantage to the blue side team. Red side does get the last pick but that doesn't seem to matter much since in the 2nd part of the ban phase, blue side can see the 2 roles left and target ban them. The series was so incrediblely close that I couldn't help but to think that if Clutch had gotten blue side 3 out of 5 of the games instead of 100T then Clutch might have won 3-2 in the end. These are my thoughts on the Blue Side dominance in pro play. Just wondering if Riot is going to change around how draft phase works in the future to maybe balance blue side a bit.
