Balls has always been a great top laner. People who say he isn't just don't get it. But it was nice to see the analysts actually taking notice that the top laner has to be set up for success. Now Balls shows the world how dunking is done.

Honestly, I'd say he's one of the weakest top laners at worlds. That being said, C9 has done an amazing job at covering this weakness. He's perfectly fine post 10 minutes, it's his laning that's the weakest part of his play.

Most teams play with the top-lane meta mind set and funnel their resources towards that end. There are limited resources to allocate and Cloud 9 tries to get any extra resources onto Sneaky and Incarnati0n and even Hai will take jungle camps in spite of aiding balls. Not to forsake or sacrifice balls, but that they trust that Balls will still persevere well enough to contribute when it counts.
