Can we get an F for Cloud 9? Not for Worlds but for...

...them losing all their fans? Or at least one of 'em.

Really disappointed with them this year.

I could handle not winning in Spring, I could handle them not winning in Summer.

I could handle all the bad plays, the bad drafts, the shakey teams they drafted and then the bad macro and shot calling.

Cause they always, always, always deliver at Worlds.

They make me proud in NA, give me hope for next year, and they have always looked strong even though though they never got to that Worlds Final.

However I am embarrassed by their actions. I think legit some of them don't even care. I'm hoping that they can through a year of self reflection, maybe some team changes, and staff changes make me a fan again.

But after being disappointed all year, and to be let down at Worlds was too much.

I got into watching Esports from Cloud 9. They were so much fun to watch, and while they didn't win any championships during the time I watched them, they were always competitive, but with how boring the LCS is now and how I hate Double-Trash Talk-Lift ranting about how he's god gift to LoL I'm struggling to even care about LCS.

Clutch is entertaining, and I have a soft spot for CLG, and I don't dislike Optic.

But with my favorite team just not even giving a shit anymore I feel like the only option I have left is watching LEC.

So yeah, Cloud 9 you were a fun team to watch. I hope you start caring at some point.

Maybe if you can string together something that resembles a backbone I'll be able to stabilize all the cringe from your drafts and mind blowing choices.

I hope you do come back one day C9. I really hope you dig yourself out of this hole.

C9 just ran out of talent. Losing Jensen really hurts on the international stage because now they no longer have “that guy” they can count on to step up and carry.

They are left with a roster full of above average NA players, which worked out decent in regional splits because our region is so talent poor but a mediocre mid laner combined with a mediocre bot lane simply is not going to cut it on the worlds stage.

I would have turned to the LEC years ago but I hate the lighting in their studio/arena as it's so dark and red.

Another is the competition within the LEC( teams #1 - #6/7 are really competitive) but my god each year in the LEC there are 3-4 teams that are complete booty. Sure the NA LCS has it's anus teams but they are somewhat competitive with tie-breakers and such but in the LEC it's constantly 20 kills to 3 and 10 towers to 0 about 5 games each week.

Overall, just transfer to the LEC and not waste another game/year like I have for years before. NA is a region that will disappoint you....even when you literally have nothing left.

Cloud 9 - Yeah, sucks but one has to think how much longer will Sneaky play for? I see Sneaky playing for maybe another split but if C9 don't win the Spring Finals I see him retiring, especially if C9 aren't competitive in such split.

Hell, look at NA in general - 70% of the NA players are around that 24+ years old and have been playing for 2X what most EU players have. Aphromoo, Meteos, Sneaky, D-Lift, Xmithie etc etc - how much longer do they have left in the tank? Another is how many foreign players make up the NA LCS and how talent from other countries only play in the LCS for the $ and that's it.

The NA LCS is honestly just a w$ore but the exception is such pays the customers(foreign talent) to make them feel better abotu themselves as they tell themselves they matter in the mirror.

Dude they had one bad year, even Korea had a bad year it'll be alright lol Next year just like Korea C9 will be back in form and make us proud in Quarters!

I think it's time they let sneaky go and get an adc with good mechanics. I really was a C9 fan since their first split with lemonation meteos ballz sneaky hai, and I admired their continued worlds good showing. But I think sneaky should have gone since last year, or maybe even sooner.
