So... Remember that 2017 mid-season Jungler swap between IMT and CLG that got super-hyped??
Team Liquid has them both now.
Team Liquid has them both now.
Not like they'll stand a chance in the finals anyway, RNG and SSG are the only two capable of beating SKT. They can add all they want, when you're adding players who've failed before they'll just fail again.
I don't think that was the point at all....
Yeah, no. CLG has reignover now, possibly because they realized that they can't function without a control-style jungler.
Reignover was not a part of that trade though. It was Dardoch and Xmithie
I don't think Dardoch is on TL now, is he? I think he's being traded away to Echo Fox.
Yeah, he's on echo fox now, in what looks to be their attempt at going from the second-most passive franchise in league history to the most aggressive one. Tis amazing what the likes of froggen can do to a team.
What was the first/most passive franchise in league history? Exactly, what you said about the whole 20 mins W/L for EF now is 100% accurate.
I'd put jin-air ahead of them if only because it actively became a meme for them and they at least knew how to exploit those long games (I gotta check, but from what I can understand 2015/16 jin air were actually above .500 in games over 30mins while echo fox was something like 7-16 in that same timeframe). I'm also not too sure if you remember or not, but I actually had the DD to echo fox move pinned down for a while (as it was my idea that froggen couldn't thrive unless he had a hyper-agro jungler). The fact they got rid of him is sorta an added bonus, as at least now when DD goes for a hyper-risky invade on the enemy's red he'll at least know that his midlaner won't sit passively in lane trying to get every last minion.
I thought Jin-Air had shorter games this past split or year and was a reason why I forgot about them. haha Yeah, I remember you talking about the DD/EF situation a while back ago, I wanna say like a year ago or so, good scouting. It's not hard on the other hand to see that an aggressive jungler paired with Froggen was close to useless. With DD and Fenix we could see a fairly aggressive jng/mid synergy that doesn't revolve around mid but around buffs a sorta MID laner is now the ganker for the jungler type of situation. Now that the Jaguars are somewhat decent you can't talk about EF and the Jaguars in the same sentence that you were before, something like Jacksonville Fox or something lol.
Yeah, no. As long as the jag-offs (my nickname for that team) have Bortles I'll still call them terrible, as despite what their record suggests they're literally only winning games off of a top-tier defense and a division that might finish with three of the 10-worst offenses (I also have to check, but I'm pretty sure the teams they've won against have a sub-.400 winning percentage). I made a comment about this on another post, but my idea now is that because they have all these aggressive lanes (altec/adrian also "kinda" being included, as well as the potential for huni) we could see a scenario in which one lane draws a ton of pressure from the enemy lanes/jg while the other two go rampant and get massive leads. While I'm not saying they'll be good or anything (hence my idea of 20min wins and losses), the sheer amount of versatility this team could have is scary, due to not needing to put gold on specific players.
That could also thin the team out as far as advantages go also. The team looks really promising but not sure if it will translate to wins either at the moment.
