;[ 2 Teams to cheer for now! As well as a possible Finals encounter so nothing to be sad about ;]. However FlyQuest are going to be bad this year and C9 will be decent but not a top 2 team. Just what I think personally but if you think so and it comes true, next round is on me.

C9 will be decent? they had the best run at worlds(from NA) and competed with the best in NA(TSM IMT last season) and their team only got better, C9 can easily compete for the top spot in NA

FlyQuest stomped challenger series (with the same roster minus contractz) which included the relegated lcs teams meaning they will probably do the same to the bottom tier lcs teams this split putting them at the middle of the pack and simply put Hai wins games you cant rule them out (Granted I wouldn't bet on them)

CLG in my opinion looked best for NA. Not only were they not supported by their own region like say at MSI where barely any NA votes were given to them as NA was like 5th or 6th in the popular fan voting crystal thing to represent your region they were also not given any credit for making Worlds even tho they won the Spring Split and yes looked bad during the Summer they still had a dang good showing in the Summer Split.
Worlds CLG beat Rox Tigers and were 1 game from advancing from Groups which they had there own fate in their own hands unlike C9 who needed SKT to beat their opponents for them to advance.

C9 did not look good at Worlds. They had possibly a Game of the Year vs Flash Wolves but that's about it. They got smashed by SKT twice could have easily gone 0-2 vs FW and looked alright against IMAY.
I RESPECT CLOUD 9 AT WORLDS!!!!!!! However they looked "good".

What will happen if Impact doesn't show up like he did back in the day with SKT in 2014? It was obvious that Impact was a main(not only reason MAIN) reason why C9 was successful last year.

The NA Challenger Scene it's trash dude! Fly Quest beat up a bunch of what Hards? KiwiKids? Santorins? KFCS? BIGS?

I think he will better but better doesn't mean great. The last time we saw Balls in NA he was clearly average same with Lemon with a much better C9 team. Altec is a decent ADC but he farms more than anything and sucks in teamfights.

Will be ok but will die more often this split than he has in the past. Sneaky is bad in lane better than he started out but hasn't really improved for about 4 years now so he may never be good in lane. Smoothie was he riding a "high" last year or is he the real deal?

Yeah, think of it this way: instead of only being restricted to seeing 5 "C9 members" in the LCS, you can now technically see 8 of them competing at once.

Oh, and being a fan of players always trumps being a fan of sports teams (something I've never really understood, as unless the team goes out of its way to bring a "good atmosphere" you're really only cheering for which shirt you like better). For literally the longest time my little brother was a huge fan of Drew Brees. My parents bought him a chargers jersey when he was with them, then bought him a saints jersey when he was traded there for Phillip Rivers. A bunch of the high-school kids bitched and moaned/called him a "bandwagoner" when he came in wearing all those different jerseys, when in reality he just thought the guy was cool and wanted to support him by showing it.

disagree Bandwagoning is the worst (granted I do agree for favorite players it isnt as big of a deal)

but It drives me crazy when people jump ship for teams that are good

like a couple seasons back

C9 is about to be relegated people: CLOWN 9 C9 runs gauntlet and stomps the opening of worlds same people: C9WIN!!!!!!!!
