So why are some regions not represented in the Worlds scene?

If you look at the lol esports teams at worlds there are only NA LCS, EU LCS, LPL, LCK, LMS teams. What about people in Oceanic or Latin America? Are they just not allowed to play in worlds or something? I would love for someone to explain this.

They suck lol or else they would have a spot in international wildcard.

It's still kind of fucked to exclude them completely. And if they sucked they'd be easy competition. So what difference would it make if they were there. It would just be nice to see players from all over the world instead of America, Europe, and Asia.

uhh no one wants to waste time watching scrub teams get steamrolled. the wild card teams are already enough of a joke as it is.

They aren't excluded completely. They have an opportunity, it's just that by the time the International teams make it to Worlds......they get crushed. The "easy competition" already exists.

The top regions get free automatic passes for their top teams. The other regions have to win one of two IWC events to get in. Pain (Brazil) and Bangkok Titans (Southeast Asia) won those two events.

The Oceanic team lost in the finals to the Titans.
