This was a 1v1 style map with a game mode similar to the Snowdown Showdown 1v1 and 2v2 game modes. This game mode was shown almost two years ago and nothing has been said about it since. Are we ever getting it and if so why not? It's a fun quick game mode for people who don't have the 30-45 minutes to play Summoner's Rift. NEVER FORGET THE MAGMA CHAMBER
I wasn't playing yet when this mode can around. But when I saw it I thought it was freaking kool. I would love to play this mode.

That's been canceled for almost two years. Evidently the playerbase wasn't too enthusiastic about Snowdown Showdown, the Featured Game Mode for 1v1/2v2, and Riot felt that a Magma Chamber queue wouldn't have been sustainable.
They should make this gamemode for ranked as solo/duo queue so people will be really on their rank and dont get problems like afk or ragers that much it is you do 50% of the work instead of 20% you won't get carried or the enemy will be unstoppable because 1 of your teammates has a bad game. I know most people gonna hate on me because they will have to remove normal solo/duo queue for this but if you want to play summoners rift 5v5 then you still can start a team and search for people. Some will say it is impossible to find a team but there are alot of chats where you can easly find other people like the public chat rooms or the "ranked" chat room where i most of the time go. And now people gonna say that they have to play with other people and play against other people who are simply better then you. That is maybe true but by playing against higher skilled people will teach you more because when you are losing you will think about what you did wrong and then try to improve that so you will become a better player and for me is league of legends a game where you try to improve yourself, become better and get more skilled in playing the game. You can still think i'm wrong but yeah everyone has his opinion and i want this game mode.
