This is what happens when Ghostcrawler re-watches Gigabyte Marines vs Fnatic at last year's Worlds and gets a stiffy without using Viagra. Carry roles get nerfed into the ground while duelist/split push champs get a big boost totally flipping the charts on what champs are strong or weak. As a result teams are doing some crazy things to get wins and it's so far off the established meta that some pros are badly struggling to adapt and getting benched.

its the "funnel strategie" where you tell the junger (and your entire team) yo you guys are my slaves this game. i will farm as much as possible to become fed and all you guys protect me.

if a duo decides to do it im pretty sure you have to surrender to it or youll lose its kind of like a hostage situation.

It's more or less not the most ideal tactic for SoloQ. Flex and Clash (HA) would be where you would best be allowed to trial funnel strats.

For more information it's not just Kaisa Braum that can do it. Over the duration of 8.11 there have been multiple funnel strats.

The most common and the one to start it up was Taric MasterYi . Basically the obvious carry takes everything in the jungle and mid lane and formulates a "Super" champ. The composition around the champion focuses more to a supportive front to ensure the champ doesn't die. For Kai'Sa, think of Juggermaw on steroids.

I also recommend you watch the Griffin vs SKT series that happened earlier this morning.

Through YT: Game 1 here uses Kaisa Braum piloted by the bot laner and jungler.

Ahhhh the funnel strategy. Kai'sa gets all the mid farm and jungle farm. Tarac and yi can do it too. But for solo Q, it takes a 100% commitment on the part of the entire team starting from champ select to pull off consistently. But when pulled off, it requires a lot of risk taking and team work on the part of the other team to counter.
