They lost pretty handedly to Fnatic, in my opinion Fnatic pulled out a little cheese, but even so a little cheese backed by extremely skilled players can be devastating.

But then there was SKT T1

TSM played like Bronze Nubs. So much overextension, over aggression from behind, poor positioning, and worst of all...piss poor decision making. If it were possible to posses someones body, i would say they were all taken over by sorcerers or some shit because it didnt even look like they were behind the keyboard. That game, was BRONZE Team X Vs. SKT T1...TSM wasn't even in the bleachers let alone on the main stage. I love my TSM, but this broke my heart...When the F%$# does Dyrus get solo killed and #Rekt and then push up to the enemy tower and start roaming and being places he shouldn't be???? NEVER!!!! But this game...he could not stop doing it over and over.

I want TSM back...Get your shit together and stop playing like its your first tournament

Yeah, especially since C9 would have almost definitely done better. C9 should at least go to World's, assuming Incarnati0n is good and someone can roughly match Hai's shotcalling.

I am not mad they got crushed, just extremely disappointed. I can get fucking up on a few games, but they only did OK against turkey. Like the OP said it was like TSM was not even there, though it happens a lot at international events.

Cloud 9 was our best and last hope to start competing on the world level, but dropped the ball since their greatest member had to retire on injury. A real shame, because they're the only NA team I approve of. I've never been a TSM fan, because they have too big of a history of failure at every international event. They don't even make it out of the group stage, and that's just unacceptable. I don't see how they can be salvaged other than an entirely new lineup.

I don't why people call it cheese. A win is a win. If you can't defend against cheese, then you suck. Plain and simple. You should be able to see little tricks like that coming. That's TSM's bad for sucking, not FNC's bad for exploiting their opponents' weakness.

It's called "cheese" when you take someone into a lane that you would never ever take there again, not even in solo Q. Thats pretty much what happened. I am not saying that TSM would have won if Fnatic picked more "standard" champions, honestly i think they still would have lost. I watched a couple other of the VOD's and honestly TSM looked BRONZE the whole time and played very poorly. I can't say that any weakness was exploited, but TSM showed their ass...the whole tournament and it was embarrassing as a TSM fan. Even from champion select, prioritizing Gragas, arguably the weaker cc tank jungler, when Sejuani wasnt even banned was just the beginning of a series of bad decisions.

Eh, still. I don't care how "cheesy" it is, it's always the losers bad for falling for it rather than the winner's bad for pulling a fast one. You can't let something that simple throw you if you're a pro team. TSM didn't even have proper basic mechanics at MSI. 5 Teemos could have beaten them.

As i said, they played like bronzies..takes one to know one, I is one and im callin it. It was still a cheese comp, and they are not likely to ever do it again.

They would have beat fnc had they only lane swapped. That and bjerg needs to be on a play making champion (he could have picked ahri but he had to pick cho.).

If they beat Fnatic they would have made it to semi finals. What is done is done. But the group stages were that close. It wasn't an impressive showing for ether team in the group stages.

TSM it is not that disappointing. Just unlucky and maybe over hyped.
