How to carry plat players

Honestly, I don't know how to get through plat. The teammates here are worse than gold, and I've never seen silver.

I don't understand how you can be a plat player and not understand basic shit like pushing sidelines and warding baron. It is not uncommon for me to have teams that will give away 3 barons without contesting them at all. The thing is, it is so fucking obvious to me when they're baroning even if it isn't warded. I just don't understand how you can be plat and have NO macro level game sense whatsoever. It's like they're playing Call of Duty.

How do you get through this division? It doesn't matter how far ahead I am, I can't stop 3 barons. The base will just die to attrition. I'm a mid laner. I'm not a split pusher. I can't smite barons. I really just don't know what to do.

Honestly, it feels like a coinflip every game. Either my teammates know exactly how to play and its a complete stomp or they get blown away and basically walk around the rift with their heads cut off.
