The more I think about it, I began to realize why Malphite is successful in only select LCS teams.

If they can pick up wins with this champion it's because their team has good synergy, clear communication, and confidence across the board. I like this champion and while his role and kit are clearly defined. The decision making (4th) as well as the three points listed above are what separates the two. I would even go so far as to say, if your team does not have these 4 points then you will just lose or put yourself at a severe disadvantage.

Odd as it may sound, the way a team in LCS performs on this type of champion should be a wake-up call as to where they are in their team performance and it is easy to pick-apart the issues lying within, through the analysis of their performance.

I realize they are against a struggling team but there are are other games with Malphite being used to great success by other teams. Even starting to see play in NA LCS. I think he is an underrated pick that is really effective against duo and triple marksmen comps and should be played more to punish them heavily. The problem is..which teams have the coordination to take advantage of this fact?
