it doesnt disable anymore just reveals

Control wards do disable and reveal enemy wards. This is a spectator's view. I think it has to do with the 'walls' on the map. Similar to how if you put a normal ward in that bush it wouldn't reveal the area on the other side of the wall.

Idk if it shows the X in spectator view. If the ward is disabled and Peanut sees the X he's better off not attacking it, since attacking it would reveal him but leaving it as-is would leave him undetected.

It does show the X in spectator view (if the control ward is disabling a ward or if you use sweeper lens).
