NA kids who keep spamming '' NA > EU '' you think we are satisfied with that team ? Do you actually think that team represent EU ? Then EU should have nothing to worry about long term. Sure G2 messed up but if the teams are actually stronger then that (which I agree with) then come worlds they should be able to hold their own anyway.

I honestly dont understand why people rated EU higher. On paper, NA is stacked with talent. Good NA players, EU imports, KR imports, etc. I mean is it really a surprise that EU is worse? 3 of their players off their best team last year, play in NA.

Its why I never understood why people hyped EU so hard. G2 just isn't a good team, and the same things they did in EU LCS got punished severly by the top teams of other regions. Thats why I didnt understand why G2 was hyped over the Asian teams. Even with CLG, I get, but to put them over LMS/LPL? Please.

Honesty, the overall hate for NA to constantly underrate them is getting old. At this point, NA is loaded to the gills with talent. Far more than EU has. I mean your best team has freaking Kikis as its starting top laner.

To play devil's advocate for a moment...

MSI, before this year, has never been taken very seriously or had any real stakes to it. So before this year, a lot of teams goofed off and didn't train particularly hard for it. This is why you tended to have some pretty unexpected results that were the complete opposite of how Worlds ended up shaking out.

Now, that doesn't excuse G2's failures but it may explain the mindset they got caught up in a little.

Also, with that said, given how far ahead G2 was of the rest of the EU teams for most of the spring slit, it's a little presumptuous to assume any of them would have done any better even with practice.

I mean, don't get me wrong, as much as I'm rooting for CLG, I was hoping G2 could have performed better since I'm a fan of Kikis (my days off from work shake out that I can see more of the EU LCS than the NA LCS sometimes) and I'm disappointed they did so poorly. It just seems a bit much to proclaim them giant failures of the entire region.

Europe was represented poorly by G2 but as a region Eu can say at least they won Worlds and last year made it further than NA ever has at Worlds so EU has that. However the past is the past and NA are rising to become Great or ( Once again Great ?)
