Loving this MSI.
It is nice to have a tournament where most games are close and any team seemingly can beat anyone. My favorite tournament since a long time.

Just want to echo this. Even with what appears to be a catastrophic EU meltdown, there really is a sense of anyone can beat anyone.
Even RNG is completely beatable, even though they're undefeated atm. They have vulnerabilities. It's coming down to better execution. Easily my favorite international tournament in the history of league so far, even as a TSM fan.
I am not sure what it is, but everything just looks messy and takes away any enjoyment for me.
Faker keeps taking wrong runes/masteries, Questionable plays from all the teams, Lots of players showing champion weakness or lack of pool, and bad drafting (coaches). Hell when China won against SKT they should not of taken as long as they did.
Sure anyone can win, but its like watching everyone play drunk. Consdiering the implications for worlds i would of expected more out of these teams. Yes new players like stixa having problems should be expected. But long time pros are having break downs.

Worst tournament since 2015 MSI for me.
The G2-SUP game I just watched was the most exciting game of LoL I saw in a long time, but on the other hand I feel the meta is so unbelievably boring right now. It feels like there aren't even four champs per role worth playing on average. I don't recall an ADC being played that's not Lucian, Ez, Kalista oder Cait. No game without Maokai, Graves Jungle, Azir or Ekko.
