Only the League of Legends community would complain about Tyler1 being banned. The man deserved it 100%.

I seriously don't get it. Why would people defend someone who is EXTREMELY toxic, intentionally trolls if he doesn't get
or anything that he wants? It baffles me so much that people defend such asshats in the community.
um thats not the majority of the boards, thats tylers fanbase.
Happened with Dunkey, happened with people before that, it will probably happen again. People saying that because someone was funny, high-tier, or a streamer that they deserve special treatment.
Let's just hope that all of the people that say, "I won't play unless he gets unbanned" actually stick with it. If he was that much of a driving force for a person, then they probably have some similar qualities. If they're similar to Tyler1 then the community will appreciate their departure.
People are allowed to say they liked him, that they thought he was funny or good, the same way people are allowed to say that they didn't like him, but when you start saying he didn't deserve this you better have a sound argument and clear rationality other than, "other people are worse." Yes, murderers aren't as bad as shoplifters, that doesn't mean we'll stop arresting shoplifters.
Below is a personal rant about the community. Do know that the important parts of my post are covered so feel free to ignore what's below.
People on that thread said so much BS like "I run into toxic people all the time and you don't do this to them." So, you acknowledge that Tyler was toxic, but because there are other toxic people out there he shouldn't be banned? Do you even know what the purpose of a permaban is? It's not asking you to create another account in case you were wondering.
I saw the most upvoted post had, "He leveled his account on stream" as one of his main points. 99% of the league community leveled their own accounts, that doesn't mean Riot owes him anything, it means he did what he was supposed to do. When that's a key point, it feels like people are grasping at straws trying to find examples of things he's done right because they were so rare.
The community used to ask for IP bans all the time on the old forums because we knew that people couldn't be trusted to simply create a new account and become a better person from it. Many do get better, but there was nothing in place to handle repeat offenders as IP bans could result in collateral damage. Now that someone gets targeted by a gigaban, there's no collateral and it feels like he met the criteria with over 20 permabans, people are saying that this is unfair.
"He made a video about himself being a better player." Look, he deserved this long ago, much longer than it actually took for him to change his ways. He didn't make that video after his 10th permaban, but anyone with 10+ permabans deserves to be removed by further action.
"That heimer also bought his account" with 331 upvotes. Thank you for that wonderful and insightful addition to the conversation. Out of all of the thoroughly explained posts I've made and seen throughout my forum career, you definitely added enough to the conversation with those 6 incredibly thought-out words to deserve your place in the spotlight.
And everyone upvoting the "But he's reformed Kappa", it's like people don't know what Kappa means. It's only a meme that's been around for years now and would be particularly popular among people that watch twitch streams, but I guess if the circlejerk of people downvoting that post want to upvote a post making fun of Tyler, who am I to say no?
I know there are good people in this community, but we're far from something I am proud to call myself a member of.
No he deserves to be banned, but also kacytron and nicktron and all the other big streamers that troll in games. The only reason why riot banned tyler 1 is because there lcs butt buddies got salty.
Checked him out for this post and I agree that he deserves that permaban if he is as toxic as the videos and commentary I have seen on him where
It's because he viewed the post on stream so his fanboys came here to downvote the thread.
who is tyler1 and why should i care about them?
I never thought I would see the day that Draven Day got out downvoted.
Deep Terror Nami said it's his fans padding the votes. It's not the community as a whole downvoting his ban...
Who the hell is Tyler1 and why do we care?
Why does the post have 1k downvotes?
im neutral but i like streamers like him they are fun to watch so its kinda sad that such an entertainment is gone :/
while tittstron i mean kacey is still allowed to fuck with b5 players
hehe xD
