It's the juggernaut patch all over again, but it's not as exciting.

People cried and complained until nerfs were eventually made... and now we have this where people will continue to cry and complain until ardent/adcs get nerfed.
And after that it will prob be tanks.
DarkRitual2 votesIt's a SINGLE item that has caused such drastic meta warping. First botlane to have Ardent online wins lane. Whichever bot lane wins lane usually wins game.
Supports are running gold quints, and sometimes even 9x gold yellows. ADC's start Relic Shield to funnel more gold into them.
I wouldn't be surprised if the worlds botlane meta actually moves to letting the support get half or more of the lane cs. Like, it doesn't matter how far behind your adc is, because you have Censor online first so they instantly win trades.

Every worlds since S3, Janna becomes a contested pick. Literally becomes pick or ban. With Ardent being to powerful, it only cemented that she will be a pick/ban champion
Worse, it's a ADC meta so...yeahhhh
ChompyWulf2 votesUhhh wut? Other shield champs have seen more priority most seasons at worlds. Lulu, Karma, Orianna, Ivern, especially because unlike a cheese comp they can take roles outside the support slot and be safe draft picks.

Niaphim1 votesKind of. She is incredibly predictable an easy to counter. The only fairly unpredictable combo is flash+ulti, outside of it she is too binary.
Last time she was a real pick in the LCS (and still not really popular) was when she had 58% win rate in solo queue.
