At this point just please get it out of the way.

G2 vs TL G2 are bored and look to seal the final nail in the coffin and humiliate Liquid while they're at it. Perkz and Jankos decided to play Zed and Evelyn. The early game, fortunately, was not a crap shoot. G2 took a slight early lead with their assassins. They then ran into a brick wall, it's called Impact's Sejuani. G2 got too cocky and TL was able to capitalize on their lust and counter them.

OG vs C9 Origen like in their first game came swinging to take command of the early game. Unfortunately, C9 benched Sneaky and put Nisqyin as the ADC as Sneaky is sick. C9 then came to rally in the mid-game even being able to teamfight Origen. However, during a teamfight mid, everything that could go wrong went wrong for C9 as it started with Blabber being unable to get the kill to revive. From there C9's defense became a turnstile and OG secures the best of 5 advantage for Saturday. Please get well Sneaky, we need your meme power to save us.

TSM vs G2 There is no point to this match other than for team pride. G2 is still playing loose, but, they learned from their loss to play a slightly more normal comp. Keyword being slightly. CAPS and Perkz were not satisfied and decided to play Lucian and Zoe in roles the other champ would play. For extra BM, Jankos went Pyke Jungle. This didn't matter as G2 was running in circles around TSM. They didn't really take this game seriously even though TSM was probably doing the opposite. It looked like the reverse of the show match. CAPS was looking like a ranged Yasuo with his spell slinging. Perkz has still yet to play a regular ADC. WE GET IT G2 YOU WANT THE WIN JUST TAKE IT!!

TL vs OG If this match had series implications, I would take it more seriously. Still, if TL can't beat a trolling OG, my optimism would go down another 10%. Liquid was able to avoid any level 1 shenanigans with vertical jungling. It seems that Liquid, now that they know how OG play, are understanding OG's early game tendencies. OG's aggressive bot lane inevitably got first blood, seriously they have Pantheon support. Later on, Alphari gave Impact a slow painful death. Nukeduck finally brought out the Manamune Kai'sa which I secretly hope to see succeed so NA could also use it. The game then paused.

2 hours Later

The game then resumes with a macro based midgame. The thoughts of securing a mountain dragon then broke the stalemate with TL decisivly getting a pick to secure the drake. TL for the remainder of the mid-game got to dictate the pace with their superior teamfighting comp. After TL took inhib, Nukeduck was the next ingredient in the Liquid blender while doing the same to the rest of his team like someone in a Melee Peach Down Smash. This enabled them to secure baron and the rest is history. My optimism increased by 5%.

TSM vs FNC This game the teams took it a little more seriously than most of the others today. It was TSM who was doing the early game aggression for once with Zven gunning everyone within range on Lucian. This game was the perfect way for TSM to lash out their frustration onto Fnatic. Akaadian had himself a game and a half on Elise oneshotting everything in sight going full pen and thought squishies were turnovers.. They had some troubles with Bwipo's Aatrox as he was destroying the bot lane like prime Shaq destroyed backboards. Zven eventually caught steam and looked like he was in 2016 form. TSM was then able to gain a grasp on the game and run over Fnatic despite their obnoxious waveclear.

G2 was trolling for most of the day and even choked one game. However, I can say with confidence that NA will win at least one game. Nah!! we're probably going to get swept!

My major takeaways are that Jankos got to play Pyke before it potentially dies of nerfs. I didn't care who won cause of that. Sometimes NA vs EU just needs a little nod to the side for recurring team narratives.

Aside that though, it was a 3-2 day in favor of NA. There's a dribble of hope going into relay day tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'm off to wondering how the red rift tournament will shape up next week.

Was there an actual 2 hour pause?? I didn't watch Day 2 cause there's literally no point in watch 1 region bend another over in 20 min stomps.
