So... Kinda just dawned on me... we now play in a bo3 regular season, so I think that some of the previous predictions may have been based off of bo1 seasons, so I'm just going to give my updated list for my top 6, who will win the NA LCS championship, and who will represent NA at worlds

LCS Predictions

  1. CLG
  2. TL
  3. IMT
  4. TSM
  5. EFX
  6. APX
  7. C9 8.-10. The others

Playoff Predictions APX vs IMT - IMT 3>1 EFX vs TSM - TSM 3>2

IMT vs TL - TL 3>1 TSM vs CLG - CLG 3>1

CLG vs TL > CLG 3>2

Worlds Predictions

  1. Counter Logic Gaming - Impressive bo5's in NA playoffs and finals, amazing representation at MSI, and a very solid roster that remains intact. Yes. there are a few weaknesses, but a bo3 environment in NA will definitely give them a boost as they definitely go to Worlds to represent NA again internationally.
  2. Team Liquid - Yes, I'm a TL fanboy at heart (Since Spring 2015 woot woot), but hear me out: They were one game away from going to the LCS finals, but CLG took it all away with a brilliant double tp play that nobody saw coming. Their rookie filled roster worked miracles late season, and I expect them to get no less than 4th (Ha ha, very funny), and will win quite a few games (Hopefully making it to Chicago in the process, cause... I'm in the midwest)
  3. TSM - Oh, it pains me so so much to say this, but TSM will go to worlds. They thrive in a bo3 or bo5, and they have some of the best individual talent in the West. I can guarantee, however, they will not go to finals this year. Yes, they thrive in a bo5 scenario, but TL and CLG are both very hard opponents. TSM will get in through the gauntlet, where the competition will be much easier, although IMT will put up a big challenge, going to the last match for that final seed.

Just my thoughts, don't downvote b/c I didn't rate your team higher. GG NA, and GLHF. Its going to be one hell of a season

  1. Immortals - They lost in the playoffs due to arrogance and underestimating their opponent. If they do it again, then obviously they'll show up lower, but I don't think they will.

  2. Team SoloMid - They're one of the most solid teams in best of matches and will effectively have a home field advantage with this new format. The questions to ask for TSM is if BioFrost will be able to perform (I think he will) and if their synergy from the playoffs wasn't a one off (which it may have been).

  3. Counter Logic Gaming - They can definitely get higher if they've addressed Huhi's issues from MSI which showed him as the weakest link on the team. They know each other extremely well and have gained plentiful international experience and learned from the process, it'll be a matter of putting it to use.

  4. Team Liquid - They are definitely in contention for a top spot and I only put them here because I think they'll tie with the third place team, they're still going to lack some experience, but I think their synergy has started to mesh together very nicely.

  5. NRG Esports - The roster changes will either raise them up or blow them down, but they'll have synergy problems early on and possibly even later in the split. It'll come down to synergy.

  6. Envyus - They have solid players in Seraph, Ninja, and Hakuho. It'll be a matter of the others being tested and proving their worth.

  7. Cloud 9 - Everyone is watching to see if they can function as a squad without Hai. If they can pull it off early on, they'll be a top team, if they can't they'll be plagued with roster changes.

  8. Apex Gaming - With so many roster changes their team looks promising, the problem will be a combination of synergy and roster changes. They'll do fine in the promotion tournament, but the regular season will probably look like a nightmare.

  9. Echo Fox - No midseason changes shows confidence in the players for this team, but with most other teams attempting to upgrade their rosters, Echo Fox will look a little outdated. If they can show their current roster can withstand the sands of time, they'll have a good shot at making the playoffs.

  10. Phoenix1 - With so many free agents eaten up by other teams and challenger team rosters, the team will be put together with duct tape and staples with what will more than likely be 5 unproven players with little to no experience on a competitive scene. If the players they get together can synergize well and pull together quickly enough, they could be ranked higher, but for now it looks like they're scraping the bottom of the barrel.
